Saw Becky this morning!

So, since I had to leave last night and wasn't able to see Becky after she got out of surgery I decided to go down this morning and see her. I actually got there about 9am, and wasn't really expecting to go up to her room and see her until around 10, but I went up and peeked in. Surprise! She was awake! I wanted to give her the biggest hug ever, but she's all bound up and it wouldn't be a great idea LOL.

She looks absolutely beautiful, even in her hospital gown with her drains and those funny blood circulation boots on her legs. She got a bit tired towards the end of my visit and kept closing her eyes, so I got the hint and left her to sleep

I can't say enough what an amazing person Becky is, and how she inspired me throughout my process with my own surgery. Not just how she endured with her hernias, but her outlook and zest for life, even when she is going through hard times. Even though I haven't been able to see her much lately, she is my best friend.

Thanks so much for updating all of us.  Go ahead and feel mushy, that was me all day yesterday.  It is a good feeling to feel that way about your friend.  Becky is a very special gal.  I can't wait till she comes here for me to take care of her.  I went out and bought pull up's for her so I can make her laugh so hard she pees her pants!  I know she will appriciate that.  I bought a size small as I am sure she will fit in my purse or something close!  I can't wait to see our new little Becky.  We need to have a clothing exchange in her honor, as I know she won't be able to fit in anything she has now.  O.k. Gals out there, get your teenee weenie clothes out, you know you got em and we can do a fun exchange maybe at the next Long Beach Coffee?  Any one up for it?  Lets just do it.

I just spoke with Becky and she wanted everyone to know that the surgeon did the mons for her free.  She sounds great and I am so happy for her.

OOOOH   The POWER OF PRAYer!  How cool is that!  I spent all day yesterday praying that he would!   Wooo HOO!  Becky that is wonderful!  I know I was not the only one praying.  I am so happy about that.  Diane thanks so much for posting this.  I am in tears, she wanted that done so badly.  She deserves this she is such a great lady.  You so made my day!

Thanks for the information Paula on Becky. I am so happy to hear her doctor did her Mons.. That is wonderful news and I am sure it made her happy.
