Hi all I got a new cell phone as mine has died!  Funeral will be held on July 4th at 12:00 p.m.  I went to the verizon store tonight and Got one of those fancy kind with the touch screen.  Don't have a clue how to work it.  Bad news is that my phone is so dead that all the contact information has been erased.  So if I had your contact information at one time I no longer have it.  Between the computer and this phone I don't have anything of anyones.  So if you still want to stay in contact wtih me I would so appriciate you all sending me your information via PM.  My account here is now secured so there should be no worries.  Thanks so very much and wish me luck in figuring out how to make this darn thing work.

Your rep at the Verizon store should have pulled your "sim" card out of your old phone and been able to read all the information on it to program it into your new phone. You must have burnt up that keyboard! LOL

I think Verizon and Sprint are the only carriers that don't have "SIM" cards, which sucks cause its so much easier to transfer phones. My mom has Verizon, and my sister has Sprint, thats how I know. I have T-mobile so I have a trusty "SIM" card! Sorry your phone, bit the dust Rhonda. Hopefully your horror stories about electronics will stop soon. Lol!

I thought that was standard with all phones....heck when I went over to the iPhone, it transferred all my data from my nextel phone...I think they are doing something wrong for her to have lost everything! Guess it just goes to show that electronics still cannot take the place of a good old fashiion, hand written phone book eh?

Written phone book? What is that? LMAO! I know, its funny how when the power goes out or something goes wrong with electronics how we can barely function -- going back to the basics! We are so spoiled. And I do mean "We", I couldn't live without my conviences. I mean I could if I were say to go camping or something. Lol! I guess, I better write my phone numbers down, so if ever I lose my phone. Now wheres that yellow thing with the peice of rubber on top? Oh well, I will just type it into the computer! Lol!

Hi Jean,

The guy said if it won't power up they can't get anything out of it.  Maybe I should go back today to a different store and see if they can do something about it.

Are you PMing me about this offer?  Million bucks?  Did you find a kid that you want to send to me?  Do you want to take one of my kids?  I have one who is 14 that I would have loved to get rid of yesterday?  Call me or PM me.

Talk to you soon.

Hey Rhonda,

Would love to be onyour phone list. Would you add me as one of your friends so I can PM you?

We looked at touch screen Blackberry's and opted for the curve. We weren't impressed with the way it "handled" best of luck!

Hugs,
Sue
