Good Thursday Morning Cali
Good morning Cali and welcome to the Thursday edition of what the heck are you doing!
I am going to keep this short and sweet since I am sure Chris is wondering whether I will post or not...feel free anyone to get the morning post rollin....I have not exclusive rights to it....and I like it when others post.
I know I keep checking the boards to see the updates on Becky and Monica....no news on Monica :-( and I am sure that Becky is going to do fabulous!!!!
I have been going through some medical issues, but nothing conclusive as of yet....all I can say is that there is one more thing I did not think about having reconstructive surgery....but I am sure all will be well.
Weight loss numbers are up and good this week and Chris will be posting the amounts....I think it is fantastic. I am wanting to get back on the wagon so to speak and think I am going to do the 5dpt again because I am not going to let my food have power over me or anyone else....I found myself stuffing my feelings yesterday and this is no good!!! So back to basics!
Have a great day everyone and remember to keep everyone you possibly can in your thoughts who are going through rough times, and for those who are sitting on the edge of their chairs waiting for change and jobs!!!!

#1. Great Medical Facility. It is the best.
#2. Depending on your appointment time, parking sucks. It's almost impossible to find a spot unless you give yourself about 30 - 60 minutes before your appointment and sit there and wait. So for $4.00, use the valet at the front of the hospital. It is so well worth the money.
#3. Don't know about the area you are going to, but when I go monthly, the wait in the Cancer Center is ridiculous. Don't know if they have any "treats" where you are going either, so if you are finding that you are waiting and waiting, go down to level A to the Cancer Center. In the waiting room to the left, there is a free coffee bar. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and crackers and cookies. Coffee definitely makes my wait to get in a little easier. Of course, now if they could just do something about all the needle poking while I'm there, I'd be ever so much happier. Oh well, got to do what I got to do.
Now all of the above is assuming your appointment is in the main hospital on Anderson. When I had my surgery in March, I had it at the new Heart and Surgery Hospital building on Barton Road. You might be going there. If so, no problem with parking there. It's like a freaken hotel. Just park and go inside to "guest services" (yes you read that correct. That is what they call the check in area) they will direct you to where you need to go and might even walk you over there or if DD needs a wheelchair, they will get it for her. It's an amazing place. But keep this in mind. It is basically a vegeterian hospital. Patients can get meat products, but if you go into the "restaurant", it's vegeterian faire only and only decaffinated beverages.
Call me to discuss that other matter I wrote you about yesterday. We've got plans to make girl.
Love you,
Steph
