Good Morning.....TGIF

Morning Javi and Cali  . . . boy when you miss a couple days here, all kinds of stuff happens . . . I don't think any of us just sit still . . . unless forced to (Diane - hope you are better!) . . .

Spent the last two days shutteling food to the hospital . . . watching my grandson . . . Costco run with grandson . . . eye exam, run to LAX . .. crawl back (ugh the traffic up there) . . . new purple computer glasses . . .hair cut . . . dinner with a friend . . . and running my daughter to work and picking her up at 10 pm because her car wouldn't start yesterday - so we have to jump it today.

No special plans . . . maybe start organizing the pile of junk on my bed so I can sleep in it again . . . have 3 Day "stuff" all over the place .. . only 9 or 10 weeks until then . . .wahoo . . .

Good morning JaviC and everyone,

I hope everyone has a safe and fun 4th.  I am here in San Jose visiting family and friends for the 4th of July weekend.  I had a very nice visit with my bother and his family last night.  Today I am going to meet up with a friend I have not seen in 22 years....boy, is that going to be fun. 

I know I have not been around much on the board, but this surger y has really kicked my butt.  Matter of fact this past week has been hell week for me.  I had both of my grandbabies all week...now I do love them, but when they get together and just having surgery...it has been tough.  I just Thank God that my daughter was off work these past couple weeks and has been a real blessing.  I went to the doctors's the other day and got my stable out and he said that I am still really blotted so I can't go back to wor****il next Wednesday...but the good news is I will be home alone on Tuesday...only because Monday my DH is going to be home and I also have a dentist appointment in the morning on Monday....so I think I will just sleep all day Tuesday....hahaha

We'll I need to get my butt in gear and get the kids ready along with me for the day...

Good Morning Javi and Cali Friends,

Happy 4th of July weekend to all.

Had a dress rehearsal last night for our concert on July 4th, it ought to be great fun.  My poor mouth was tired though!  Three straight hours of playing on a new reed, just about did me in. 

Well, I haven't heard from SFUSD and I am getting a little concerned.  They said we should know by the end of the week, well that was yesterday because they are off today and the hiring manager will be going on vacation for two weeks.  UGH.  I keep second guessing my interview responses, so that sort of sucks.  I have just decided to leave it to God and trust that there is a plan in mind, if not this position, another one is in store.  I have NEVER been unemployed so I am nervous and given that Ron is also looking for work as he just graduated.  I know we'll survive and above all else we have each other, so nothing else really is that much of a deal.  I need to keep the faith and move on.

So, next Monday, I will avail myself of the local workforce center and start pounding the pavement, enough of this waiting stuff!  This is truly a lesson in patience!  LOL
