Good morning Chris and Cali guys and Gals. 

How nice to have a quiet house lol  that is a rarity for me for sure!  lol.  Nancy you and Lon sound like Gerry and I, we are always doing some fun thing when we get a chance.  Miniature golf is something we have not done for a long time, I think we are going to have to do that on our next "date night".  Little Michele, how fun that you got to see an old friend.  He is right you are a tiny thing!  But as you know I believe awesome things come in small packages!  lol  Today is going to be a great day I am sure.  We are having a BBQ pool party today with friends and family.  I was hoping our Becky would be out of the hosptial by now but I think it is going to be today or tomorrow, she will be keeping me posted I am sure.  Everyone have a super safe and wonderful day today!  Enjoy and be nice to you today.

Good Morning Chris and Cali Friends,

Happy Fourth of July!  

Please say a prayer for Ron's Dad today as they are going in this morning and putting a drain into his kidney where there is a cyst which is the source of an ongoing infection.  Bert is 84 so and weak, so we're nervous to say the least.  I am hopeful that once this ongoing infection is solved that he might be able to regain some strength and at least enjoy life once again.

No word yesterday from the interview, but they were closed.  So I will just see what happens next week.  I will also go to the local jobs bank with a former co-worker who was laid off at the same time I was.  We both can give each other support!

Tonight we will go and have a picnic at College Park High School in Pleasant Hill at 6pm and then I will play in the Pops Band at 7:20p.m. in a free concert.  We play for an hour or two, take a short break and then will play through the fireworks.  I played last year and it was a wonderful experience.  So if you're out and about our way, just look for us and feel free to come sit with us too, OR  you'll see me on stage anyway with my tenor sax!

I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe 4th of July.  Remember the sunscreen and water and stay away from those illegal fireworks.  Our county bans even the safe and sane ones and has for years due to fire danger.

You got the prayers!  Give Isla a big giant hug from me if you would.  sounds like  a fun evening for you.  We are just having some freinds over for a BBQ and some Swimming nothing big here.  Just relaxing by the pool and vegging, but you never know with us.  lol.  I got the sunscreen ready and the tea made and the watermelon cut, so it appears that I am ready for the day.  I will keep your family in our prayers today as always.  Take care and keep us posted.

Hey Ms. Rhonda,

Thank you for the prayers and I did give Isla the hug.  The procedure went well for Ron's Dad and he was resting comfortably when they left yesterday afternoon.  Isla came with us last night and really enjoyed so that was good.  We all got home around 11pm and finally to bed around 12:30 a.m. but a fun time was had by all!  Hope you and yours had a great 4th!

I will be saying a lot of prayers for Bert today. I am sorry that he has to go through this, but hopefully it will be the start of getting some relief. I will also say one for you and your family.

I am continuing to hope that you hear something from SFUSD. Have fun tonight. Um, do you say "break a leg" to musicians? lol!  Enjoy your picnic!  You are in my thoughts today, my friend!

Happy 4th Everyone,

I hope everyone has a relaxing, enjoyable, safe and sane holiday.  Dennis (my loving hubby) and I will ALSO be hosting a BBQ/Pool Party for family and friends.  Must be a Cali-thing!  I'm almost ready for my one glass of Merlot and a long soak in the spa!  Lots of food-prep before I can relax, though! and it's already 10AM. Eeek!

Be grateful for what you've all accomplished and treasure every one of your family and friends you'll see today that stand by you and and continue to give you their unconditional love and support.  They make it all worthwhile.

Thank you so very much.  Bert handled the procedure well and was resting well.

Last night was great too and I am remaining positive on SFUSD but if it doesn't work out, there will be something better.  God has a plan, he just hasn't revealed it yet.  Hope your 4th was a great one.

I know your heart is being pulled in several directions but so happy you have the concert tonight to look forward to.  Music and celebrating the holiday will be great diversions and so much fun for you!
