Orange Coast Memorial Hospital

Hi Everyone!  I am having surgery on the 14th and would like to know if anyone here has had surgery at this hospital.  If so, could you please give me your opinions of the staff, etc..  From my pre-op appointments all looks good on the outside but this differs from the nurses etc..  What was your experience here during you stay?

I don't have an answer to your question but just wanted to let you know that Im having surgery there on the 16th.  So I hope its good :)  Looking forward to the answers you get.

I'm from Nor Cal and had my surgery at UCSF but wanted to give you lots of pre and soon to be post op support!  Congrats and we're saving you a nice warm spot on the losers bench!

I had my surgery there on may 19th and they were all wonderfull!
I had one kinda weird nurse in the midddle of the night but other then that haha it was good.
suuuper nice and atentive.

 How are things going?  Hope you are doing great and you should be close to stage 3 foods.  I can't even begin to imagine what stage 1 is going to be like.  I just need to be disciplined and keep my head up.  During your stay at OCMC was there anything you did not take but wish you had with you during your stay?  This is an hour drive from my home with traffic and my husband works in south central.  By the time he gets off work, on the freeway and to the hospital, visiting hours will be over.  I need to make sure I have what I am going to need as I don't expect my kids or husband will be able to make the trips for visitation.  I already have the necessities but thought you might add something you wish you would have had. 

Keep loosing, and I'll see you on the loosers bench 1 week from today.

 

ALL I NEEDED WAS MY PILLOW AND BLANKET TO FEEL MORE AT HOME. CUZ THE WHOLE TIME U R THERE GIRL U WILL BE SLEEPING! HAHAHA OR SIPPING SIPPING SIPPING.....BUT REALLY JUST SLEPING!

Im doin good im on sft foods...i eat lots of chicken and turkey and cheese and beans. And sugar free popsicles hhaha.
