Lap Band

Hello Everyone....
I never come on here anymore...just too busy and I am a facebook addict now...:)
Anyway, I just wanted to send out a post in case anyone is out there that is thinking about having the lap band surgery.
My DH had lap band surgery on Friday. Dr. Krahn did his surgery at his O Band center in Orange County. OMG...I was amazed. It was total out paitient surgery. He went in at 10:00, they took him in the operating room at 12:20, he was wheeled in recovery at 1:30, and we were on the way home at 3:00!!!! He was a little loopy from the anestesia, but was up and doing laps around the recovery room 15 minutes after he woke up. I was just amazed.
He is still pretty sore around the tummy, but overall feeling pretty darn good. It will be exciting to see his results!

WOW . . . I wasn't out that fast at all . . . ended up there almost 24 hours . . . but if he was moving around that fast . . . way to go!  Best of luck to him!

Awesome to see you on!  We have missed you!  Boy the hubby is a trooper doing laps in 15 min!  You should be proud.  Looking forward to hear his progress.  Take care!
