Good Morning Cali!!!!!

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine would have been a lot better if I had not gotten sick. I have spent the last 3 days in bed ...am up now and will try to work a full day.

So tell us what you did this weekend. I have a hard time remembering what I do let alone do a shout out like Janie, so you all will have to shout yourselves up....

Yep - I have been a little MIA just cause I have been so darned busy.....I had a great weekend...just spent some time with family and swimming and all in all a great weekend. 

Today finds me babysitting early this morning so I am getting ready to hop in the shower to start the day.

Well may day has started with COFFEE!!!!!!!

I am hoping it will start me cause I am ready for bed, not to start my day. After today, I am off for the next two days and right now, I have no plans, execept I would really love to get some sun.

My weekend I was at work, nothing I can tell ya about. WORK WORK WORK ugh!!!

Morning Darlene and Cali . . . and it's heigh ho, heigh ho . . .it's off to work we go . . . it's our new fiscal year . . . the "system" will be back up today after our weekly shutdown at year end . . .and I imagine billings and "I needs" will be flying left and right today . . . but it will still be quieter than at home I think.

My DIL's hair is really falling out now . . . in chunks again . . . this time she lost her eyebrows . . . good thing we still have this wig from last chemo session . . . my son's paperwork should be on the move to Monterey today finally . . . one of these days I might be driving that moving truck up there!  Now the question will be if he goes up alone at first or everyone goes with him . . . depending on how hard these chemo pill**** the DIL . . . because he won't be able to stay and help with the kids on a new job . . . and she is on the pills for another 5 weeks . . . so that is still up in the air.

Good morning Cali Guys and Gals,

Sorry to hear so many of you are not feeling well and the relatives and not either.  I had a great weekend.  Becky has joined us for a bit while she is recovering from her surgery.  Wow!  she looks like a million bucks now.  Her surgeon did a great job.  We had a blast driving down to pick her up.  We had an opportunity to meet some of her old HS buddies what nice ladies they were. Becky is doing better than I had ever imagined she would.  She is walking around and laughing, but nothing will ever stop her or put her down we all know that.  Well today, have not a clue what we are going to do other than the  gym this morning and just plain old goofing around.  Probably trying to get a tan on these white legs of ours.  Well everyone have a great day. Have fun no matter what you do and do something nice for yourself.

Good Morning Darlene and the Cali Gang.

I really hate Monday mornings.  It was hard to get up this morning and get into work but I am here.  Need the money so I have to work.    I only had to work a half a day on Friday which was nice.  It was super slow anyways.   My boss bought us all lunch and they got me an ice cream cake from Baskin Robins for my birthday.  I only took a couple of bites but I took about half a cake home to the kids. 

I had a quiet weekend.  My mom sent me some money for my birthday so I bought me a new purse, treated the kids to hamburgers for dinner and then did some grocery shopping.  We watched the fireworks at the fairgrounds.  We could see them from where we are.  My son enjoyed it the most.  Sunday was just church and then relaxing.

This week is looking like just work and the same old stuff.  I hope everyone has a great day!!

My weekend was very uneventful, but good. I didn't need to go out and see fireworks, because the neighbors provided plenty of entertainment in that area!!

I'm up early tending to my farm....man I am hooked on Farmtown....I think I need intervention...lol! By the way, Darlene, your farm is gorgeous!!!

My weekend was wonderful...Went to San Jose to visit family and friends and had a great time, then got home just in time to give the kids a bath and me a shower and then off to a Birthday party in Riverside...so to say the least I was beat last night around 9:00 when I finally got to sit down to relax.  Matter of fact I feel a sleep with the computer on my lap....and Jenel yes, I was on my farm, so I must have been really tired...lol

Well, I am still off wor****il Wednesday.  Today I am going to take the baby to the sitters and then I have a dentist appointment, nail appointment, and then off to get my car washed...boy, it needs it so bad..since I haven't be able to drive for 2 weeks.

I am so happy Becky is doing so well...

Janel, I love the picture of you working on your farm.  I need to get a hat like yours...I just don't think I would look as good as you though...lol  Also, I know what you mean about being hooked to farmtown.  I am addicted...maybe there is a 12 step program we can join. lol

Well, I need to get my butt in gear and start the day...  Hope you all have a wonderful day!!!

Good Morning Cali Friends.  I had a great 4th of July weekend as I spent it with children and grandchildren.  My husband's pnuemonia is just about gone, which is good because it really kicked his butt!  Other than this, all is well.  Wishing you all a wonderful and productive Monday.

Good Morning Cali Friends,

WOW! What a busy weekend! Friday, I had to work because someone screwed up and didn't give us the day off!..lol Sat was a lot of fun. Spent most of the morning catching some sun by the pool, then my parents came oevr for somemore pool time & a fun BBQ! Holidays, drive me crazy. It seems when a holiday is in town, my eating is on a vacation, too. I never seem to eat "normal" when there is a holiday. Either, I am consuming too many carbs & not enough protein or I am snacking all day, so regular meals are out the door. Thank goodness, it's Monday and I can get back on track.
Sunday, was a pretty low key day. I just did some errands to Trader Joe's & Walmart, then I got a lot of stuff done around the house. I love the feeling of accomplishing things that I have been putting off forever!
