Julie, I am totally with you on the vacation and eating days.  I appear to be in a mode of grazing and I plan to put a stop to that today!  I am going to try the 5 dpt just to get me back on track and to make me feel better about myself.
Don't be to hard on yourself. You have and continue to do great.  We both just need to get back on track now that it is Monday.
Have a great day.

We could learn a lot from crayons:
some are sharp, some are pretty,
some are dull, some have weird names,
& all are different colors....but they

ALL exist very nicely in the same box.

Mornin' Y'all!!

Well it's Monday, and well; I'm at work .  I had a great weekend, spent time with family and friends.  I did learn something this weekend though.  I learned that swimming is a lot tougher when  you lose a lot of weight.  I hardly float anymore, so there was a lot more kicking involved just to keep myself afloat.  All in all, a ton of fun was had, and the fireworks were specatcular.

Hi Javi.  You are sooooooooooo right!  Before I lost the weight I could not sink at all no matter what and now that I have lost the weight I cannot float!  My husband, sisters, and children cannot believe that I sink in the pool.  They never saw me sink before.  I never had to use a floatation device to keep me afloat in the pool or lake.  Now, I need a floatie if I do not want to sink.  LOL
Well, other than sinking in the pool, how is everything else.  Long time no see.  Hope to see you in the future-maybe at the Long Beach COffeehouse gathering on Saturday, July 25th.  Take care and great c'ing less of you (weight wise that is).

 Good Morning Javi,

So sorry your at work.  I go in today at 1:30 and then I will be crying like you.  I didnt have the fun this year as I thought I would.  All everyone did was eat, eat, drink and eat again...

That is not me anymore.  I feel left out and disappointed.

I am proud of you that you are losing your float.  LOL!!!  Good job!  Have a great day!

Good Morning Darlene and Cali Friends,

Ah it's Monday.  I called SFUSD this morning to obtain status on the job interview, I'd like to know one way or the other so I can figure out my next move so to speak!  Hopefully, I will get a return call today.

Weekend was fun with playing for July 5th.  I have uploaded a photot of the sax section from 4th of July on my photos, yeppers that's me in the middle!

Gotta go to SF today to drop off my step mom and then come home and do some work around the house.

Hope everyone has a great day and great week ahead too.

Hugs,
Barb

Morning Darlene and Cali gang
Well, it's Monday and my mood matches...don't usually let things get to me but just finished up a staff meeting and 'de-briefing' on our annual convention.   Some major issues came up at convention and the excuses presented today just p*(_)( me off.  But! I need to move foward, let it go...and just do my job, which is closing the books for year end (June 30).  I did convince my boss to buy my personal laptop (I'll use it as my computer here at work and replace my desktop model) which will help pay for the new Toshiba I just bought for home.  So I guess all I need to do is 'turn the coin over'...there are always 2 sides...a good and a bad (well, bad sometimes, not always). I have a support group meeting tonight in Elk Grove that will help tremendously; haven't been able to attend since before the Hawaii trip.

I hope you all have a good Monday, be kind to yourselves...YOU ALL are SUPER SPECIAL!

Good Morning,

I am sitting in my recliner which has now become a permanent part of my ass, and taking my little tiny pills that has morphine in them.  Still hurting, but it sure has taken the edge off.  Still awaiting to hear from the doc on a surgery date.

My weekend was pretty quiet.  Dougie worked both Friday and Sat.  Yesterday he cleaning the house some and made sure I wasn't starving.  My biggest problem is my dad, who lives with us, is still showing his love for me by trying to feed me like he did when I was a kid.  Now we are talking cookies, candy, ice cream, best thing he comes up with is fruit.  It's driving me crazy resisting all of these things I love and miss so much.  Someday I am just weak and others I am so proud of myself.

So good to come here and see everyone doing so well, and so many new faces.  Want you all to know I am still here, but addicted to that damn Mafia wars, just starting that farm thing, which I don't understand at all.

Ok enough, everyone has a great Monday!

Love and hugs, Diane
