OT: Car Trouble, Baptism...And Jason's Coming HOME!!!(UPDATED)

I served in the music ministry for all 3 services yesterday. I was a truly blessed day. After church I had some time to kill before heading to the baptism, so I went to my cousin's for a bit. When I left, I got about a mile away and my car died. A gentleman helped me get my car to the curb and his wife let me use her cell phone so that I could call my cousin. She came and picked me up as I was already late for the baptism. So on the way to the baptism, I called Matthew to let him know what happened and where the car was parked so he could get AAA out to tow the car home. We thought it might be the battery or alternator, but it turns out it's the fuel pump, which is in the gas tank. Then Mattew found a powersteering leak and the it may be a seal or we have to replace the rack and pinion. Ugh!! No money to fix the car, no job and no way to get to interviews.

The baptism was wonderful. Full of blessings. We had about 30-50 baptized, including me! It was a ftime of worship, fellowship, support and friendship. It is something I will never forget.

Looks like Jason won't be coming home aftr all. Somehow she's convinced him that 'it's all his fault', so he's staying with her in Misery (Missouri). I am so fed up with this BS!!!

Hi Katt,

Sorry to hear you had so much troubles yesterday, but was also happy to read that you were truly blessed with the music ministry and your baptism. You and I know, not to worry God will provide. I am also happy for you that Janson is coming home...You know God works in mysteries ways and this could be one of those...

I will keep you in my prayers that you get your car fixed and a job soon...

Katt! Yippee...I can't see or hear about a baptism without tears coming to my eyes. It's like a birth and how can you not cry at a birth. Welcome to the "family". I am feeling blessed just knowing that you are a sister of mine.
