Wow, no one has posted the morning thread yet. I am surprised. Janine must be taking a well reserved rest. She sure knows how to do a shout out....

I'm with you...  no one quite does a shout out like our friend Janine!  She's da BEST at it!

I hope you all had a great 4th.  We are back from our holiday camping trip from Collins Lake with my daughter and the grandboys.  we had a lot of fun although I am a bit sore from sun burn.....  Ouchee-wa-wa!  Especially in the hot shower this morning....

Isn't Collns a fun place to go?  Did you have any luck catching the 'big' cats or strippers?  Last time we went by there, they had some really neat pictures of the latest catches, trout, bass and 1 huge cat.  Sorry to hear about the sunburn but happy to hear you had a good time camping ^_^

OMG Becky . .. YOU ARE LOOKIN' HOT!  Wahoo!  I don't think anything could take that beautiful smile off your face!  However . . . remind me not to eat any frozen veggies at Rhonda's either . . . lol

My DIL found out yesterday that the tumor in her leg is beneign (sp) . . . but not so for the one in her neck - spine . . . so she now has chemo through an IV every Mon/Fri on top of the chemo pills.  However . . . the tumor has shrunk some since she was there last . . . so that is a great thing . . . and hopefullly this will continue shrinking.

I was put back on my cholesteral pills . . .ugh .. . I'm not overly thrilled about that . . . but it's probably my own fault for no****ching what I'm eating more . .

Good Morning Darlene...........

If all you are giving me to start my day is one coffee, I will never make it. I need to the whole pot this morning, and the way I feel right now, I will need that set up as an IV main lined.

This morning finds me with a sore throat and tight chest. I sure hope I am not looking at URI, but this sure does have that feeling. UGH! I guess I need to take my days off and get some rest. But I have been working on painting my house, or the trim. The rest is done, just trim to finish. I never new how much work it was, even more so since I have no clue how to paint it, but the person that was painting was not able to finish. I will have to find someone to do the highest parts. My ladder wont reach that area. So I have not been gettting much rest. Then on the 4th/5th I was up until 1 AM and turned around and went to work that morning at 5 AM, and when I got home from worked, I worked on the painting until I could not see any more, done the same thing last night when I got home, and might do the same when I get home tonight. It also might be the paint fumes that are getting to me and getting my chest all yucky. WOW! I just thought of that. What a dork I am.

WOW!! sorry I got some carried away this morning telling life story.

I woke up last friday with the sore throat. Been in bed eversince.Was not able to work yesterday, great start for new job eh? but the extra day did help quit a bit, now just the tight congestion in my chest. But no exploding headache like the previous days. Hope you feel better, when your done there I still have lots to finish here that got started a year ago when I moved in....

I didn't make the whole day at work. This congestion in my chest just hurts OMG!!! I think this thing is going to win this battled. I thinking of going to bed and pass out for a few hours, then wake up and take another nap. I can not believe how fast this thing came one. It sucks!

The painting I will work on this weekend. I think I will take a few days off. Work on it later.

I hope you are feeling better. I understand about the head wanting to explode. I knnow that feeling well now.

Good Morning Darlene and the Cali Gang.

Well...made it through Monday alive.  I wish i could say the same for my glasses.  I fell down on Friday night and tweeked my glasses and yesterday, I took them off to clean them and they broke in 2 pieces.  I tried to glue them back together with some gorrilla glue but all I ended up doing was getting glue on the lens and now I can't get it off.  I kind of Mickey Moused them with some wire.  They are not the strongest but at least I can see...well kind of.  If not for the glue on the lens.  I need to find someone who can weld them back together until I can get my insurance worked out and get to the eye doctor for new ones.

Becky...You look so good!!  I can't wait to get rid of my hernias and my hanging belly one day.  I need to lose some more weight first.  I am seriously thinking about getting a revision too.  I don't know though.  I have to figure out when I can take some time off of work for all of that.  Have fun with Rhonda but don't do too much.  Hopefully, I can get over there and see you before you go.

Have a great day everyone.  Coffee is done and I need it today.  4 hours of sleep doesn't cut it when you have to work.

Good morning Cali,

Well I am back on the road again for work.  Got home on Sunday night from so cal, boy was the desert hot!  We went to the Pechanga pow wow on the 4th, Vanessa had a blast dancing and looking at all the dancers.  Drove up to Petaluma on Monday at 6 am and will be here all week.  The weather has cooled down.  It was the first time my sister has seen me since surgery and she was in amazed.  I am down 52 pounds since I started this journey in December, seems like it has just begun.

Goodmorning Cali guys and gals,

Busy day again today, but what else is new?  lol.  My children are so enjoying Becky's visit.  They are also so enjoying the summer!  Chris I am sorry about your DIL she will stay in prayers. Well not much to share today other than my sides are killing me from laughing just too hard with Beckie.  She put on my Gold Lame Pants (which are not forgiving) and I laughed so hard I peed my pants.  Thank Goodness I have Depends.  I am going to have to start carring a pair in my purse, if the past few days are any inclination of what is in my future with Becky being here this week!  Well better get going got to hit the gym.
