I have "gastritis" or some ulceration.  I don't know what that means for my revision.  I have an appointment with the bariatric program doctor.  I don't beleive he is the surgeon, but, actually I have no idea what his position is other than doctor.  I'm going on Friday to see him.  I'll let you know what happens.

Ginger, let me know what happens on Friday, and also find out who this doctor is and what is his field of practice (if not a bariatric surgeon). They might offer you a revision of your RNY, and if you want the DS, that would be a great opportunity to request the DS instead of RNY and get a denial. From there, you could file your grievance and go through the appeals process.
