Something to get my mind off of homework.
I found my weight loss notebook tonight while taking a break from homework. I looked in it, and only saw 2 entries - the day of surgery and one from just over a month after. Well, I'm about 4 1/2 months out now, and decided to take my weight (at night, even!) and do my measurements (Becky has grumbled at me for not doing this more consistently!) So, here are the figures:
Weight day of surgery: 253 - Weight today - 203 -- 50 lbs lost!
Measurements - start/today:
Hips - 50"/46"
Belly - 52"/46"
Waist - 50"/42"
Boobage - 50"/45"
Total inches lost - 23!
I am terrible and don't keep track, but am very inspired by these results to start! Also, it was a really nice surprise after having a rampant night of yucky math...
By the way, Rhonda - it worked! I was able to figure out 2 of the 3 equations after you sent me your message. I am going to the Math Lab tomorrow to get help with the last one.
Have a good night, all!

Thanks Jackie!
I am going one of two ways with school, depending on finances. What I really want to do is finish my General Ed at the junior college, then transfer to a CSU school for radiation therapy (providing radiation therapy to people with cancer, etc...) - but what I am probably going to end up doing is finishing my Associates in Radiology Tech (x-ray tech).
What I am working on right now is Astronomy (general ed).
Your surgery is rapidly approaching!! Good luck!!

Paula,
I hear you look incredible and by the inches and lbs. wow girl! Maybe it is a good thing you can't come today, you would just out-shine some of us here. I am so happy for you to be doing so well. You should be proud of yourself. Do well in school today girl you sure are a smart one. But remember who all things are possible through, and you will never be alone through anything.
You go girl.
Rhonda
