Happy TGIF Cali

Friday is here!! Thank goodness!! This has been a long week and I cannot wait for my weekend off. I have basically all outside plans for the weekend. The weather has been beautiful here. I am going to love working out in the yard, spending time in the sun and swimming.

Yay!!!  Friday is here and we made it through! 

My daughter and I are going to San Jose this weekend to take my grandson Tommy to my MIL so that she can help us with him as she is a Special Ed Teacher.  She is going to help us to help him.....  he is going to be in 4th grade this year and can only read at the beginning of the 1st grade level.  The school he was in did nothing for him last year...plus he was moved around.  I pray this helps.

This little guy is the "apple of my eye" and I just adore him and want the best for him.  He's Grandma's Big Boy!

Any way.....I have my carpal tunnel surgery scheduled for July 23rd.....I'm hoping to get a lot of relief with that!  Then I can come back and really bug you guys again!  lol

Good Morning Nikki and Cali Crew!

Its Friday once again, whew! Where has this week gone? Felt like it flew by to me! I couldn't sleep this morning. Got up at 3:45!!! Haven't done that in ages. Don't know whats going on, must be something bothering me. Woke my hubby up, cause I ended up having a nosebleed. Thats no fun. I have a few things to do today, try to keep busy. I have to get to the gym, first. Shhhh, don't tell, but our Miss Rhonda is a tyrant at the gym! Lol! I struggle to keep up with her! As you know, she is a great motivator. I had a "moment" yesterday, where I doubted myself and was going to go back to some old ways.... a turtle pulling back into its shell. But with the help of Miss Rhonda and Becky, I stepped out of my box yet again, and enjoyed myself, doing what I wanted to do. Hmmm. being around all you ladies (sorry I haven't met any of the gents yet) I may have to throw that "box" away!! Hope everybody has a fantastic day!

i am so glad friday is here but i have to work all weekend so its not really my friday til tuesday night ,my off days are wed and thurs.. im so excited about having the net back in my own place i can go on and keep in touch now and stuff. as far as tennessee humm its ok. but i miss cali alot ..its so different here that is forsure . but im adjusting i quess. the humitdy is getting to me thou its so so bad here. anyways, hope everyone has a great weekend whatever your doing ..

Good Morning Nikki and all of Calif........

I am up and drinking my wonderful coffee. I had not bought this coffee in a long time, but it was on sale at Stater brothers last night so I spend the money for it. OMG! how I have missed this coffee. LOVE IT! (Steve knows what coffee I mean)

Only 16 more hours until I can sleep. This cold is dragging me down. I did go for a walk with the dogs last night but my lung started scream about 1/4 of a mile so we came home. That was sad because I wanted to walk get and move cus I was tried of being in doors for the pass few days. I will try again today.

OK time to get moving and jump in the shower. I wish you all a great day.

Good Morning Nikki and the Cali crew!!

Yeah for Friday!!!  I so need the weekend to recoup from my lack of sleep during the week.  I am so tired all day because I usually only get a few hours of sleep at night and I have to be at work so darn early in the morning.  I think my lack of b-12 has something to do with it too.  I found a sublingual B-12/B complex at Target yesterday so I got it.  I am going to try it twice a day and see if that helps.  I know I need to get some extra iron in me too.  I am working on it though. 

Nothing planned for the weekend.  Just some laundry and catch up on some sleep.  I need to sew my stupid jeans because they ripped at work here this morning and they are the only ones I own that fit at this time and I can't afford any new ones.  If anyone has any of their big jeans (22/24 )that they don't want anymore, I know of a good cause to donate them too....me.  LOL.  I hate stating my size because that is what alot of you started out as and I am almost 6 years out and just getting to that size.  Oh well.  I am trying to lose more.  If I can't, I am going to look into a revision to possibly a DS which is what I should have gotten in the beginning with my starting weight being what it was.

Going to make some coffee and my protein shake and get back to work.  Everyone have a great weekend.

Well today I go home and I also have my six week check up this afternoon.  I hope the DR is happy with my results so far.  I seem to be slowing in weight loss, but I lost so much before surgery it cut down on what I actually needed to lose.  I tried the Precore (?) machine last night, boy it was tough.  I managed to stay on for 15 min and then did the treadmill for 20.  I only burned about 200 calories!  Oh well I just have to get my stamina back and hopefully I will be able to do more.

I was looking forward to some rest and relaxation this weekend and that is so not gonna happen. Have a BBQ and Sammi has a birthday to attend tomorrow. I may get some rest on Sunday????

Good Morning Y'all,

I am just about to head out to work. I don't wanna go. Oh well, what can you do eh. I shouldn't complain, I have just had 10 days off. I work tomorrow too. It is only 2 days and then I am off again. Not much planned for this weekend. The gym, laundry and grocery store. The usual. I hope you all have a fantastic weekend. It looks like it is going to be a beautiful one.

I'm off today, have had a house full of sickies . . . 6 of us .. .ugh . . . but I think we are on an upturn now . . .mostly.  I'm taking my DIL for her chemo treatment today . . . since I'm off, that is easier on everyone.  Tomorrow I get to work Costco . . . hope it is a better than the goat's milk I had last week!

Yea for Janine . . . 7 years out today!  WOW . . . how we have the power to change our lives . . . way to go lady!
