Ok thought this would be worth a shot.

Has anyone out there had WLS at Cedars-Sinai? I have my consultation next week and while looking through the paperwork I noticed it says if you have a BMI of 50 or more (such as myself) you have to do a "Risk Reduction Program"....does anyone know what this is? I'm assuming it has to something to do with losing weight? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

My brother had his WLS at Cedars-Sinai about 5 years. Cedars a hospital with a very good reputation. This facility has a Bariatric Wing  - the rooms are accomodating with extra wide beds, rooms, etc. My brother had nothing but praise for this facility.

I'm with Cedars Sinai.  I didn't have to do "Risk Reduction Program" and my BMI is over 50
