liquids and squirts

OK, I'm at the stage where "you know longer trust a fart!" This does stop when I get on soft foods, right??  I had surgery on Monday and yesterday morning it was over!! I could no longer trust them!! 
 
I left the hospital about 8am yesterday and I only got in 12 oz of liquids for my time at home but I wasn't worried cuz of the IV I had all night prior to leaving the hospital. But when I tried to get my first 2 oz within an hour, I ended up in bed sleeping for 2 hours. Now that was rough, I had that, "one sip to many" syndrome and I was overstuffed. Thank goodness I didn't get sick. But hey I know now

Today, I've gotten 12 oz so far in 7 1/2 hours. Doing so much better but how in the world do I get the 30-40 oz the Dr wants right now???

Anyway, my surgery went great. I had hardly no pain, only when I over walked other than that I was great.

But let me tell ya, I'm one happy loser!! Doing the happy dance!!

Congrats darlin on taking control of your life!! Yep liquid in liquid out...boy i had a bad episode in the hospital when i thought i had gas lololol...oh man!! Thank goodness my husband loves me because he was the one that got me cleaned up and back in bed. Also, after surgery i noticed i had a lot of bile production. It lasted for about  4 weeks...not sure what that was all about but yep safer to be on the pot before u let go LOL!! Once u get some solids in you even just protein drink u will find u have a firmer BM....but remember that u wont have reg bowel movements for quite a while because u arent having the quantity of food that can produce a reg sized one. I went a few days without one and then it was small. LOL something about wls makes u acutely aware of your bowel functions and other bodily stuff too.....glad u are comfortable talking about it because it does become a way of life hahahaaaa!!!

Just sip on the water.  The amount you drink will become more and more.  I too was worried that I couldn't drink enough after surgery, but all in time, I was drinking plenty and till today I still drink more than I eat, I love water, 

Take it easy on yourself, you just had major surgery, it takes time for your body to adjust!
