OT: Bad News

Matthew just got home from work and he's been laid off. Our internet will be shut off as of July 21st and I don't know when I'll be back online. If you want to stay in touch, the home number is (909) 823-5262. Hopefully we can both find new jobs soon. I didn't get into the pool of 40 to test for the school district next week. So please pray that something comes through soon.

You might be able to get online at your public library.  We don't have a working computer at home right now so my son uses the ones at the library.  At our library there's a one-hour-at-a-time limit, but at least you could stay in touch.....

Awww Kat, I'm so sorry to hear about the job loss. Get him down to EDD and signed up for unemployment asap.  I know times are tuff for you right now but I'm praying for you and your boys that things turn around darn right soon!  At least Jason is home, right??

Katt, I too think the same as the others in that when one door closes another opens.  I am sorry that you are going through these tough times and the only thing I can say at this point is take it one day at a time.  This is what I told my son, who lives in Victorville that was laid off June 30th,  My son has a wife, 2 girls (2 and 4 years old) and another on the way.  I wish I could help more.  My thoughts and prayers will be with you and yours as with everyone else.
