It's the WEEKEND! Wahoo!
I think I'm going to survive and will be having "fun" at Costco . . . HA . . . but it's some money so I'll make myself get through it . . . I think all I have left now is a headache . . . slept most of yesterday . . . and life goes on.
My son finally got his last piece of paperwork off to Monterey for this job (it's been a year now - good grief! . . . so HOPEFULLY in the next month they will be going. DIL has 2 more weeks of chemo . . . so the timing on that will be good . . . so when this all happens, I'll drive the truck up there . . . and maybe I can hook up with some of you for coffee or something so we can meet . . . that would be cool . . . I have now given him time I CAN NOT help them up there . . . the first two weekends in August are already booked . . . first for the Silverwood camping trip, and then for the Relay for Life walk here in town. They will drive my car up . . . can split the kids up . . . and then I can drive back on my own - or run around and meet people at bit . . . that would be great.
Have fun this weekend . . . everyone heal quickly (where appropriate), enjoy your life and keep movin' and sippin'!
Chris
Thanks for starting us off this morning. Sorry you have to work, but at least it gets you some money. Hope that headache goes away though. Sounds like things should start settling down for you soon?
Not too much going on here. Probably do a little housecleaning, yuck. Go the store (not getting better), lol! Was up early this morning "courtesy" of the stupid yapping dog next door. Can you tell I'm fond of him? Well enough rambling.
Have a great weekend everyone!!

Chris, you have been through alot my friend, so glad to see things are moving along.
Not much going on today with me. Just want you all to know, you are all in my thoughts and prayers everyday. Go out and have the passion for life and smile at someone. Cause you just might make a difference in that person.
Hugs & Love,

Karen

Gooooooood Morning CHRIS and Cali Guys and Gals!
I hope you have real "fun" at Costco today. We are going to pray for you and your family as always. You sure need a few weekend trips for sure!
Spent a fun evening with friends last night, new and old ones it was a fun time for all. Today I have been to the gym and had the best work out. I finally spoke up and talked to the Saturday Coach about the weekday coach. (she is just not motivated and does not like to work) This gal pushed us to the line and I broke a big sweat! lol. So that was the best workout so far. I so loved to be pushed and stretched, it grows charachter really it does. At least that is what I keep telling myself! Well today it is going to be laundry as I have been neglecting my house duties and I got to unpack from one of my last trips. Then we are going to be sitting by the pool and getting some tan on these way to white legs we have.
I think I saw a blonde gal the other day that needed some leg tanning too, but I don't know if I can put that darn barker lounger in the back of the suburban or not? But if you are up for it, let me know and we shall come and get you.
Well I hear that darn dryer buzzer going off so I better go. Chris Keep an eye on the boards, Beckie and I have a little surprize for you, but I am such a computer illiterate that it may take us twice as long as a normal person. lol.
Everyone have a super duper day.
Rhonda
JCPenney - I want a jean skirt!, the dreaded Wal-Mart (maybe I'll do shop-ko instead) the mall to get a new piece for my sunglasses and then to the grocery store.
I have to go to my boss's house (he just retired) for a gas department appreciation bbq and while I'm doing that Jayden heads next door for a birthday party for Titus. He has such a good friend with the boy next door and loves going over there to play and have friends in to his house! He doesn't get that at mom's. No kids his age live nearby.
Off and running! Stay hydrated, take your vitamins and remember - the voices in youre head aren't talking at you - they may be singing to you - stop and dance and enjoy life! Shake your booty!

I am glad that you are feeling better, Chris. Although I know having a headache can be just as dibilitating. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers for good results all around.
I know quite a few of you are in need of work, healing, good thoughts, prayers, well wishes, and all around good luck. So, my friends I am sending it to you. What ever your needs may be, I am keeping you in my thoughts.
One of my favorite sayings is : Through intense pressure a peice of dark coal, becomes a beautiful clear sparkling diamond, but no matter what phase its in, it is still valuable and wanted. That is all of you, my friends. You are valuable and needed by me. I hope you all have a wonderful day or weekend if I don't make it on tomorrow. Don't forget to smile at someone today, it may be the only act of kindness they get today, and its free. So, share your love.
Hugs, love, support and friendship always,

I have been to the grocery store and prepared lunch and now just sitting down with my first protein drink for the day. My surgeon told me yesterday that he was happy with my results so far and that as I get closer to a BMI of 30 it would get harder to lose. I really don't care if I lose another pound! I am happy because I am no longer on three different types of diabetic medicine.
I am home only for the weekend and then back on the road. I did pretty well last week, I took me some hummus, chicken salad and fruit in my ice chest and my room had a fridge. My staff likes to go out for lunch so I went but did not do dinner every night. I will try the same thing this week and see how it goes.
Everyone have a great day
Chris, keeping all body parts crossed, thinking good thoughts and saying prayers for you and your family and their health and move. If you drive the truck to Monterey, you better let us know so we can rally with you!
This morning was support group at John Muir, a wonderful meeting as always, and of course seeing Jenn, Lisa and Tammy there too was a bonus too.
Today still working on cleaning out our "dot com" room aka the office. Getting rid of old equipment, software and stuff. Wow, we sure can accumulate a lot!
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. Remember to be kind to yoursleves and stay hydrated and sunscreened.
Hugs,
Barb
