Dr. James M Stone or Mark O Nichols?

Both of these surgeons are in Redding, CA, where I live. I'm just wondering if anyone has had any experience or reviews on them?

Hi, I don't post much anymore, but I had surgery over 3 years ago and Dr. Nichols was my surgeon. I have absolutely no complaint about him or the program he works with. You are welcome to read my profile and also click on the Doctor's name under my picture to get other reviews of him.

Hi there!  I am 10 months out and had Dr. Nichols.  I absolutely adore him.  He took care of my RNY and did an excellent job.  He has absolutely no problem chewing your butt out if you need it to keep you in line.  Welcome to the journey and if you ever want to join me for a bottle of water, lunch or whatever, I am game.  I am more than willing to share with you my experiences, answer any questions you have and help you along the way.

I had Dr. Stone do my RNY in January 2006.  He is awesome.  Like MoMo said about Dr. Nichols, Dr. Stone isn't shy about giving you grief when you don't follow the program.  I just had my three year check up - he insists on at least yearly visits after the first year - and he gave me the what for because I have had some regain.  He put me back in the right fram of mind. 
He is the best, IMHO.
