Nor Cal Luncheon & Clothing Exchange, July 25th!!!

We had such a great time last month, the whole gang decided to plan another lunch!  Here's the scoop:

When:  Sat. July 25th - 1:00 p.m. NOTICE TIME CHANGE
Where:  Chevy's Pleasant Hill, CA
          650 Ellinwood Way - (925) 685-6652
          (note: Chevy's will do separate checks for everyone gratuity of 18% will be added)

Also, we will do another clothing exchange too, so feel free to bring things you have "undergrown" out of! 

Coming this month Dr. Mariotti (plastic surgeon who specializes in WLS patients) and his assistant will be joining us if anyone has any questions about plastics after WLS.  I am not getting kick backs from him or his practice, but he is a heck of a nice guy (he has given two presentations at the John Muir Support Group and I had an opportunity to ask him questions) and Lisa and Bill are patients of his and thought if anyone had questions, this would be a great opportunity to ask them.  He will be bringing some before and after pics too.

Please let me know if you'll be joining us so that I can tell Chevy's how many folks to plan on.

This is another great place for friendship and support and the gang wants to keep it going.

Of course it goes without saying, our Southern Cali friends are always welcome too.

Rhonda and Becky would like to be on the "In Spirit" list if you could make one of those.  We are trying to get to the Long Beach Coffee, The San Diego lunch and I think about another dozen things, all on the 25th!  lol.   Some one messed up we need like 1,437 hours in a day we figured to do all the stuff that we want to accomplish.  LOL.  You gals have a wonderful time and we shall be thinking of you!

Olivia and I will be there too....    I've told myself I'm going to get up and visit with "the other end of the table" this time.....     I only got to say good-bye to some people   last time. 

Oh Laura,  Olivia, I want to see Olivia, she is so sweet.   Now I want to come up again.  I will Be coming up at the end of this month I think we are having dinner with some people, MOMO won't tell me anything ever, so I have no clue,  I was told just to get off the plane and that is like all.  If you can I would love to have you join us for what ever we are doing so I can say a proper howdy!  lol.. Give Olivia a big hug from me and have her give you one from me too.  Hope to see you soon.

Hi My Friend...

Yes, we ended up going to Yosemite on Saturday.  OMG, it was absolutely beautiful.  The weather could not have been nicer!!!  We left home at 8am and got home around 10pm.  Loooong day.  We must have walked several miles (a gazillion?  ) over the day....I'm missing my pedometer, so not sure how many...  The falls were spectacular, as usual, and the wild flowers were awesome.

Olivia kept telling me her foot hurt.  I thought she just didn't want to walk any longer and kept bribing her with juice and those new strawberry milkshake Oreos.  Well, when we got back to the car and took off our tennis shoes to put sandals back on, she had a silver dollar sized blister on the side of the instep on her foot!!  My poor baby!!!  And then on top of that, those new Oreos are not as good as the picture on the package makes them look!!!  Totally not worth it.

Well, you are forgiven my friend LOL  I totally understand doing something special for the birthday girl ^_^  And you were able to do Yosemite in a day, huh? Gonna have to convince Lon we can do that...if we get up 6am (make up the 2 hours driving time). We've made it down to Jamestown for aday...why not a little further and go Yosemite right?  come on, just agree! LOL

I bet it was beautiful...we had a huge downpour on Saturday...get any rain your way? Really strange playing minature golf in July and getting rained on!  Poor Olivia...blisters of any size are not fun :-(  Hope it heals quickly!
