Good Morning Calif........
Well, another day of work, closing year end, transferring files from old computer to my laptop (here at work), and finding ways to NOT do any of it...YET LOLOL I am definitely enjoying reading all the postings this morning:
Chris...way to go with the 3day...congrats on getting the donations needed...I'm like Lu..hate asking for money and don't have it myself to donate the full amount.
MoMo--the 'mantra' you posted via Michelle was just what I needed this morning. No excuses, no passing the buck..just taking responsibilty for ourselves and allowing each of us to be empowered to become who we were meant to be! Fantastic idea!!
Janine...HOW do you live in that heat??!! I know it is dry, the humidity being low but I can hardly handle anything over 105 here in Sac. Enjoy those grandkids...I'm jealous...but I still Love ya Lady~!
Delores...can not wait to see you on the 25th!
Rhonda....thank you once again for my morning laugh. You paint a great 'picture' and I can vision the whole 'food spewing, pants peeing, laughing insanely' scene. But! it makes me think maybe I should revisit the idea of meeting you and Mo in a restaurant!! Can you 'behave' in a park, by the river (in case we need to 'cool' you down?) or should we just find an abandoned building somewhere? LOL And how in the world can your house seem 'empty'?? Even with 2 gone...you still got like, what, a dozen remaining? ^_^ How you do it all is just amazing.
To everyone else...my brain has fizzeled and I don't remember what others wrote. It's not that you are even close to being 'forgetable'...it's just gray cells are getting grayer every day...and the memory chips fail me. :-( Hope everyone has a great Tuesday...you all are so important to me. Your friendships, encouragment and support are PRICELESS!

Well this weekend we saw Bruno and it was sooo offensive and wrong yet I laughed the entire time and on the way home. It was like watching something so shocking all you could do it laugh,
Today is my last day of protein shakes, tomorrow clear liquids and thursday surgery! woot! I have little butterfly nerves but all in all Im just excited.
Im headed over to spend the day with a good friend today so I better get moving... Im not a morning person and she has been calling.... lol
Have a super day all! Try to stay out of the heat!
Hugs,
Jackie
Happy Tuesday Everyone!
Today I'm taking my 10 year old daughter to my Aunt's house to "bead" and then they're having a sleepover! Then tomorrow we'll meet for lunch and she'll return my daughter. lol.
Then my little man (He's 2) and I will head home and hang out. He started pre-school a couple weeks ago while I work 3 days a week, and he's been extra needy for mommy time! Poor kid came home last night and clung to me like tape, otherwise he'd cry. lol. And honestly, it's fine with me because I know these cuddle days will end soon as he gets older. So, I'll take them when I can get 'em!
Hope everyone has a great day! ttfn!

My other challenges are figuring out how to deal with job burn out and figuring out ways to look forward to something. I used all my sick time and a lot of vacation for my surgery and the vacation I have left I need to save for my mom who is going through chemo. I haven't had a full week off of work for fun in two years. Yes, I am grateful the job, but I commute two hours round trip and many times work 12 hour days.
Take Care all. It's nice hearing from all of you.

Good afternoon Lu and Cali crew!!! It was so wierd to wake up this morning to just a small dog in bed with us instead of my sweet JJ calling "Becky" down the hall outside my room. I am sooooooo going to miss being at Rhonda's house, I love it there so much!!! I consider it a blessing to get to be a part of that household for any amount of time, GOD IS AWESOME!!!! Rhonda is the best caregiver and so much fun and I will never be able to repay her for what she has given me!
I tried to repay some of it last night, but dang her she wouldn't let me pay for her dinner, so yup, I was the biter!!! I bit her on the arm and got my lipstick on her new shirt! lol I'm sorry about the lipstick, but she is sooooooo much a stubborn brat I'm not sorry for biting her, I was MAD!!!! lmao
So, as Rhonda said, I got one of my 2 drains out and we were shocked at how far in it was, at least a foot inside me. Where does it go???? I didn't feel it coming out at all though and can't wait to get the other one out. The staples stung a bit at times, but it was no biggie, but there sure were a crapload of them. My hoochie coochie is still real swollen but even if it never goes down, it is still better than it was, THANK
YOU GOD and my hero, Dr. Choa!!!!!
Now is some quiet (compared to Rhonda's house) time at my mommy's playing cards and laughing for a week. I got to see my hubby for about 20 minutes yesterday, got a couple HUGE hugs and LONG kisses to hold me over until next Sat. I sure do miss him and he really misses me. The house has to be so quiet and lonely with just him there. Once I get home we will still have almost 2 weeks before I have to go back to work, so that will be nice too. This recovery has really been a much needed great vacation with my daughter and I'm grateful to God for all that my surgery has given me!!!
I might be around more often now that I'm not sharing computer time with Rhonda, hee hee. bigg huggs to all, Becky
Surgery was RNY 5/21/07...I can be found on Facebook: anewbecboo or Becky Reddick
