Laura,

Yeppers, but I am a survivor (like someone else I know and admire) and I'll find something that has my name on it.

Hugs and love,
Barb

P.S. Give my friend Olivia a hug for me too.

Hi Barb!

I am sorry to hear that you did not get the job...God will never give us issues we can not handle.

I have been a full time job hunter for months now and with all the contacts and the education I have one would think that I would have landed a job by now.

This process is not easy right now and it can bring you down very quickly if you let it.  I say their loss not yours.  They don't know how good they could have had it.

Veronica,

Hey, we'll both survive!  I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers too.  You're right, it can bring you down quickly, I had my melt down last night but I'm on the rebound now!!!  Thank you so much for your kind words, we're gonna make it out of this for the better, just gotta happen!

PM me with what you're looking for and I will e-mail stuff to you if you want.

Hugs,
Barb

Barb,

I am sorry to hear that sad news, but you need to look at the bright side of this. Just realize that you made some great contacts. What sometimes can happen is that they spent time with & got to know you. Even though, they gave the job to someone else, if something becomes available and they are looking again, maybe they will remember you! Just think of this as networking! You got yourself & your name out there and they noticed you amongst all the other applicants. There are hundreds of people who probably also applied for that job and among all those other people, they took time to interview you. While you might not notice right now, because you may be feeling rejected, but remember by going through this process, you just improved your interviewing skills!

Julie,

You are SO right on.  I needed that and I thank you so much for the reminder.  I so appreciate your insight and you've helped to reframe my way of thinking.

Thanks so much and hugs,
Barb

Barb, my Angel...I am soooo sorry it didn't work out.  The first thought that came to my mind? This leaves you more flexible when Ron finds that dream job he's searching for!  You never know what changes are in store for you both..might be something as minor as working in a different field/industry to moving to a whole nother city...who knows?  The two of you are a beautiful 'team' together...you both compliment each other so well and that is what a strong marriage is all about ^_^  We are never given more of a burden than we can handle; your faith is strong and secure...you WILL be taken care of....in God's Hands! ;-)

If you need a shoulder or a crying towel...just holler...you know I am always available.  {{{{{HUGS}}}} to you both!

Aw thanks Nancy, you made me cry!  I am so lucky in so many ways, but being married to Ron was by far the best thing I ever did.  He grounds me and keeps me sane, which is certainly a full time job in itself!

Thanks for your kind words and love,
Hugs,
Barb
