Book Recommendation
Hi all,
I've been reading "The End of Overeating" by David Kessler. I am near the end. The first few chapters go into great detail about the hormones and chemicals your brain releases with foods that are loaded with fat, salt, and sugar. The explanations are rather technical, but it does get lighter in later chapters. It also explains what chain restaurants do to make their food more palatable. You will never want to eat the dishes they talk about again. One of the things places like Chili's does is process chicken so much, you barely have to swallow it so you eat more!!!
In the last few chapters it explains how to re-train your brain so the sugar on top of fat on top of salt foods aren't desirable. The cycle that leads up to overeating is explained very well. I am getting a lot out of this book and finding it very helpful.
I give this book two thumbs up!

We could learn a lot from crayons:
some are sharp, some are pretty,
some are dull, some have weird names,
& all are different colors....but they
ALL exist very nicely in the same box.
