Looking for Group Support Near Palo Alto
Hi Suzi
If you find a doctor up there he may be able to help you find a support group. Also there are phone numbers you can all OH and maybe they have a local group leader they can put you in contact with, and even better, I am hoping that someone from here might know something. I am not sure saying Welcome to California is a good thing right now our state is such a mess, but it is a beautiful state, and you are in even a nice place than I live in, Hope to see you around more often,
Diane
P.S. WOW congrats, on the 200 plus pound loss, amazing and I'm jealous, I gotta be in your group!!!!

Susi,
Welcome to the Cali board. I don't have info on support groups by Palo Alto but I do want to let you know about our Nor Cal Luncheon that will be July 25th in Pleasant Hill at Chevy's. We'd love to have you join us for fun and support. I will post a reminder later in the week.
Again, welcome so glad you're here!

Hi Susi,
There is a support group just south of Palo Alto in Mountain View at El Camino Hospital on the 4th Thursday of every month at 6 pm. They meet in the conference room behind the cafeteria on the basement floor. The hospital is moving into a new building soon and the meeting location may change, but it won't for this month's meeting. I attend this meeting. I am only 7 weeks out, but people of varying stages attend.
El Camino hospital is on Grant Street off of El Camino Real.
It would be great to see you there. I want to be you when I grow up. 200 pounds would be a perfect loss for me.
Take Care,
MsBlues

Susi,
Barbs group up there at Chevy's is a wonderful group. They are just the best bunch of gals and guys that you would want to hang out with. You will find much love and support there. I wish you the best and I am now jealous that you get to go to their lunches and I don't! (Only kidding, I forgot you don't know me for the teaser that I am! lol) Have a great rest of the week.
