A newbie chimes in on the drama

Hi all,

As a newbie, I have not been privy to all the drama.  All I can say is I've had nothing but positive support and experiences on this board.  I hope that doesn't change because I rely heavily on the support, information, and humor I get from other posters. 

I find it sad that anyone would be critical and just plain mean to people posting on this board.  We are all in the same boat.  I think it's OK to suggest ideas, but we can do that in a way that isn't accusatory or vicious.  In order for this board to work though, we have to vulnerable and honest.  If people have to worry about being attacked, then the purpose of this board ceases to exist. 

I will still keep posting and enjoying all your ideas.

You will find nothing but support on this site,and I do hope that you do nothing butpost away.  We are here for all you newbies and oldies, yes I am one, we all go through so many different phases of WL, and I hope that we can start to share again.

Hi MsBlues.  Support is where it is at and I need all the support and positive demeanor I can get just like most everyone else that reads and posts on the Cali Board.

I am certainly glad you escaped the drama and that you have had positive experiences.  When all you do is post on support, etc., the drama usually does escape you.

The problem comes in when you start to develop friendships and relationships over and above the general support.  When this happens, you just need to keep aware that ALL KINDS of people come to these boards and, just as in real life, there are bad apples along with the good.  Just be cautious of this and you should be good.
