What Are You Thankful for Today?

Cali Friends,

Ok, most of you have come to realize I am an eternal optimist, (or at least try to be).  Heavens knows I certainly have enough drama in my own life but I come here for support, understanding and love.  SO, that being said how about a little daily reflection on what we're thankful for.  Doesn't have to be a long story (unless you want it to be), it might only be a word or two.  I think this gives us an opportunity to reflect on things that are important that we so often overlook because life gets in the way. 

I will "try" to do this daily, but if someone wants to help me (hint, hint) I'd welcome you with open arms

TODAY I AM THANKFUL FOR..................

My wonderful husband
My family who loves me
A much healthier me
A roof over my head
My faith

I am greatful for:

being on this side of my cancer ordeal
my daughter, who was my rock during the whole thing
having a job I could come back to
my many friends

I am soooo very thankful so many of my "old" mentors have appeared on the boards today.  I love this old-home-week feeling!!  Thank you all for showing me the way.......  You have helped keep me honest, accountable and successful.  Thanks Guys....

I am going to go with your list, but put God as number on and my hubby 2nd....u had a good list!

Not having a job that requires me to work outside (well at least the past couple of weeks)
Good health insurance
My husband who is caring and kind
My cats that always put a smile on my face
Financial stability
A slow day at work

TODAY I AM THANKFUL FOR.........

All of what you wrote (I am such a copy cat)

I am thankful that God has blessed me with these wonderful children in my life that show me that everyone can over come any obstacle in their life no matter how impossible it may seem.

I am Thankful for friends that love and support me and smack me when I need I need it.

I am thankful that today I can love myself as much as my husband and my friends love me. (this is a long story and I will share one day)

I am Thankful that I came to these boards and that there is so much positive love and support here and that I have made so many life long freinds.

Gosh that sounds a bit sappy, but all true.  Now darn it Barb you made me all misty again, why do you do that to me each time I talk to you!  lol.
