Good Morning Calif

Good morning everyone!

I think I'll finally stop lurking the board and start posting.  :) 

It's really hot where I live.  So hot I dont want to leave the house because my skin feels like it's going to melt off.  I'm now 2 months out from having RNY.  I'm sure next summer I will enjoy the heat more since I wont weight as much as I do now.  :)

I had my 2 month follow up with my surgeon yesterday and I'm now cleared to get my behind in the gym.  So tomorrow morning will be my first time back in nearly 10 years!  I hope I dont die on the treadmill!  LOL

I had to say I'm glad you posted!  We have the same surgeon and when I saw you were from Lake Elsinore, it reminded me of the Chicken Nuggets from Eggface's website.  Ok, now that you really think I'm strange, I'll explain.

The Costco by me doesn't have those Chicken Nuggets.  So we drove all the way out to Lake Elsinore one day just to get some (like 5 bags I think )  My husband just fell in love with it out there.  He keeps saying he wants to go out there for a weekend during my school break and I keep telling him it's friggen hot there right now!

Anyhoo, welcome.

Today is just toooo damn HOT!!! I don't loke summer never have and never will. Although I can tolerate the heat a bit more than I ccould 93 pounds ago.
This I am sure is no surprise but I will be working on the ROOM again today. I m so close to being finished I can almost taste it...and it is sweeettttttt!! Pictures will be posted soon. The outside won't be finished for a few more weeks cause it is just to hot to work out there.

Around lunch time my rat dog start going nuts and I looked out the window to see what had her so pissed off and the was a mama dear and 2 fawns out in the yard ...Mama was eating grape, St.Johns wort and apples. The babies were lounging in the shade the are welcome here as long as they stay out of my garden. They eat my tomatoes and I will be eating them...2 years ago they wiped out everything I had planted. So last year I put in a 8 foot fence and so far so good, they didn't mess with anything last year..

Morning All!!!!..............dayam, wait aminute - it's almost evening here in Almost-Hotter-n-Hell-Ville!  It's 114 outside right now at almost 5 pm.  Holy smokes............. the a/c has been going 24/7 for the last few days

We were up at the butt-crack of dawn today to take the kid fishing at the fish hatchery.  Everyone had a great time (except the fish) and we stopped in and saw me momma and ze poppa.  Back down the hill, lunch, a nap for joe and while he snoozed, I went out and got my toes doen.  Ahhhh, all the scraggly icky dead cracky peelie skn is gone (sorry if that was too gross)

Home now to collect the big and bald kid and head to wal-mart to get a pull tube for behind the boat.

Oh, yeah..................Jayden pulled a front tooth last night.  Actually he broke it loose and dad finished the deed.  The tooth fairy came and left him $5.

Joe's mom fell yesterday at a casino up in Susanville.  She was trying to get down off a chair at a slot machine and it tipped over.  She ended up with a broken hip.  Ambulance transported her to the hospital and they flew her down to Oroville where her doctor gave her a brand new 1/2 hip.  Clean break, but........... she's only 6 weeks out from a knee replacement.  Thankfully didn't mess up the knee!  She is all doped up but resting comfortably.  Prayers for her.

Gotta run.............. I was going to take a nap, but that ain't gonna happen.
