Are my feet shrinking????

Hi all,

I put on a pair of shoes I haven't worn since surgery and they're so loose on me the shoes fall off my heals when I walk.  It's funny, they make the same noise you'd expect from beach thongs.

I've lost 42 pounds. Why would my feet shrink length wise? I could see width, but length?? I didn't have very wide feet to begin with. 

Will I have to get new clothes and SHOES??

I hear ya!  I usually wear skimmers and now they are all "flippy-floppy" on me, they don't stay on my heels..lol  I guess we have "feet fat" too!!  I have tie shoes that are too loose also!!  We need new clothes from nose to toes it seems..lol'

Yup they are shrinking!  That was one of my first NSV . . . and I loved it!  Congrats :D

What does "NSV" stand for?

NSV = nonscale victory . . . like not needing an extension on an airplane seat belt . . . buying smaller clothes, fitting in a seat at the movies comfortably . . .

SV= Scale victory . . . like downward numbers :D

I guess we all lose weight everywhere.  I went from a 9 to an 8 or 7 1/2. From wide to medium.

Yes indeedy!  I got to get ALL NEW SHOES  and cute ones too!  Gave all my HUGE ones to my baby sis.  LOL

I have NEVER needed an excuse to buy shoes!! And I have very narrow size 8's and don't want that to change... I have 45-+ pairs of shoes. Although, I did buy a pair of 71/2's when I was in Prescott AZ and just thought it was because they were hand crafted.Hmmmm. I can't afford to replace all those shoes LOL I would have to sell the house!!
But in anwer to your question...Yep, you can lose fat in your feet as well as you butt...or were ever.LOL
