SAN DIEGO KAISER: Does anyone know who I can contact about the extra 6month Kaiser wants me to do in nutrition since I do not have proof of Weigh****chers.  As said before this is an additional 24 weeks to the class for surgery so it would be 1 year of classes just because I have no proof.

I'm not sure who you can contact, but in case you don't already know, you can always file a grievance against Kaiser's Option program. They'll deny your grievance & you'll have to file with the DMHC, but most likely they'll rule in your favor & you won't be required to attend the classes. The whole process can take anywhere from 2-3 months. PM me if you would like more details on how to do this. HTH!

i have kaiser in riverside they approve my surgery and i getting the sleeve on july 28 so what if you have to take option class what's the rush. take class .it helps you if it takes a year no big deal you didn't gain all that weight in 1 year take the class get your mind together . i love my class and some of my class mate have/and are schedule for surgery.i started my option class in sept /08 finish in march/09 and surgery july 28

hey.. get a hold of me.. got an idea for you if you haven't solved your problems yet... it's what I did..  I am in east county.. and had surgery already...
