Morning Barb
Love the quotation. The 2nd half is so much like my saying from Yoda... basically, you can't just sit by and expect things to happen without your participation. Wonderful!

I AM THANKFUL FOR:
A Loving and Forgiving Father who continues to bless me daily.
Being able to be a Blessing to others in some small way.
Finding Lon who has created a loving and supportive homelife for us both.

Enjoy your Sunday...God has blessed us with a day of rest and given us peace...how can you ask for more? ^_^

Hi Barb and Cali Friends,

I love the quote also. Thanks Barb for doing this. There are times we get so hung up on the same routines we don't meditate to our Heavenly Father who has given us this day to be thankful for.
My faith in the Good Lord Above.
This wonderful day. I was able to wash my daughters car without sitting down every 15 minutes.
My wonderful family and my Husband of 37 years.
The OH Cali Board for making me laugh at some of the post, cry, because we all have had our share of those good and bad moments and knowing that I can come here and get support.

Thank you Everyone.
Hugs & Love,

Karen

Karen,

So glad you enjoy it.  It really helps me to stay focused on what's important too.

Hey Barb, this is a good idea....Thanks!

I am thankful for...my son growing up to be good men. For my family dysfunctional as it is. And for being happily divorced for 30 years 1month and 3 weeks. Yes I am a bit off. LOL And most of all for the good nights sleep I finally got last night!!! Yeppy!!

Today I am thankful for:

~ my newfound (or rediscovered) love and appreciation for God. Well, it's not quite there yet, but it is slowly growing.
~ my friends, both online and in real life, for understanding me when I'm not exactly "myself"
~ my husband, but I can't really say anything about him, because none of it would do him justice.
~ financial stability - my husband (thankfully) has stability in his job, and with my participation with the Department of Rehabilitation my SSDI is guaranteed until I finish school (unless some crazy budget thing happens to the federal government).
~ the fact that I have OFFICIALLY hit Onederland! I have a picture and everything this time! I'll post it eventually.
