I wont echo what everyone else here has already said but I will give you kudos for acknowledging the "issue" and coming and asking for help, we sometimes forget what a big step it is just to do that much!

You have enough time to get back where you need to be before surgery as long as you commit yourself and stick with it! Whether you believe you can do it or not, I BELIEVE YOU CAN DO IT.

Stop doubting yourself and start reminding yourself that you deserve your surgery and your future success, the only person who can take those two things from you now is YOU.

Thank you Shells. I am starting to stick with my regimen today, or at least trying too. As someone told me, failure isn't an option. and trying kinda give me the opening to fail, so I guess I should rephrase that first sentence. I am doing my best to succeed and treating each day as a new day. Thank you for taking the time to respond to me.

Hi Michelle

You have all the answers .You were taught  what to do in these situations . You took 6 months of classes. 24 to be exact. You have tons of handouts that you were given  to read. You basically wasted your time.

Those are the things that people would say that aren't in your situation. But I am in your situation and I know how you feel. Because I am struggling with the same things. You need someone to talk to daily. Because if you don't,your gonna gain to much weight to even turn this thing around. The bottom line is that you need the surgery. But all of the stress that comes along with it is what makes it harder for us. You  need to bring the people closest to you in and let them know what your dealing with. This way they can know what your dealing with and they can help you make better decisions.

My stress comes from my worrying about my liver being to big and having to have a open surgery.  But I want this so bad that i am now doing everything that I can to prevent that from happening. But I still worry then turn rebellious.

I am here to talk if you ever need to. If you want my phone# e-mail me at [email protected] .  I am here for you just like the rest of our class. You dont have to do this alone. You are in my prayers.      TIA

Tia,
I know I should have gone to our e-mail list and asked for help there, but I already felt like such a failure because I haven't had surgery yet. and it seems nearly our whole class has. They are all in a different phase than I am, but now that I know you are going through the same thing. I will definatly e-mail you girl. Thank you for calling me out on this one. I must admit, you kinda scared me when I first started reading your reply. I was like..."What?" and got a little teary eyed and then I read more and I understood. Thank you my friend,  I will keep you in my prayers, too! Huge hugs and much love!
