It's Tuesday . . . Where is everyone? :D

Mornin' Cali . . . I didn't post earlier . . . was having "fun with ants" again . . . vinegar does NOTHING . . . they walk around it . . . I watered outside . . . and that is the side that has new ant trails coming in this morning (my shower was so fun - not).  I have 3 types of ant bait . . . and a liquid Terro stuff that they seem to love . . . and they still keep coming for it . . . ughhhh . . . .oh well . . . there was a line of people at Home Depot last night looking at ant "stuff" . . . and as my friend said - Chula Vista is built on one giant ant hill!

Not much else new . . . swamped at work so this will be short . . . have a good one - keep cool and drink that h2o

I am sorry that the vinegar did not work for you, maybe your ants are immune to it?  lol.  they do have those monster ants that one can't kill I heard!  Personally I think Orcon has made those ants so only they can kill them so everyone would call them rolfmao. 

 Well I am up late today as the kids were up late.  But yesterday was fun, I met with a gal pal and we had lunch and she showed me how to work on my farmtown and stop killing all my crops.!  lol.  I gave my word that I would work on my farm for 10 min a day and keep it nice.  So after this that is where I am headed.  Went the the meeting before the meeting last night and it was awesome.  I think it was the most people we have had.  There are some new ones that we turned on to OH and some others that we encoraged to come back now that the drama is over here.    We had a couple gals come by after that meeting and just sat and talked and listened to music, it was really nice to have a nice evening with friends and kids.  We even roasted marshmellows, well the kids did along with the hubby.  Funny how much fun a 50 cent bag of marshmellows can be isn't it. 

So for today My focus is going to be on simple pleasures.  How about you?

it is cool and overcast this morning.  So unlike the past 2 weeks!  I did not get up until 6:30 and had to get going fast, seems like every one is lagging a little.  Hope you all have a nice day.

Chris sorry your ants (and uncles) LOL want to keep hanging around, I always thought you were awfully sweet.  No, kidding aside, I am sorry those pesky things are around, they do make life miserable.

Today I will be going to East Bay Works and see what they have to offer as far as job openings, resume review etc.  My resume is pretty heavy with Workers' Compensation stuff and I need to rewrite it for more of the HR Generalist responsibilities I used to do as it appears there are more jobs in that arena right now.  I hope they have a pro that can help me there.  I can do it, I just want a professional opinion as I have been out of that area for a few years.

Hi Chris and the rest of Cali.

First, for Diane - I didn't get a chance to talk to Justin yesterday before or after class, his note taker was doing some logistics stuff with him, because we have a mid-term coming up and they were planning on when to do it. So, he wasn't alone where I could talk to him. I'm going to try today!

Class is kicking my butt this week. We had two homework sets due yesterday, and one today so far this week, and we are going through about 3 chapters this week. That means a crazy amount of work for me. Of course, I do it to myself - I take notes while I read, instead of highlighting in the book (in case I want to sell it back), and then I type them up, so it takes me about four times as long to go through a chapter as someone that just reads. I'd say that I can forgo the note taking, but I really don't absorb the information if I do not go through that process.

Right now I'm watching a documentary on Jonestown while working on my homework. Scary sad.

Just wanted to pat ya on the back!  The process you go thru, note taking while reading and then typing them up...what a great way to reinforce what you just read!  Make ya bet you also remember stuff you didn't write down...one thought brings up another which brings up another thought...keep up the great job! And there isn't a darn thing wrong with a 'B'!!  Just like you, that is ABOVE AVERAGE!

Good Morning Chris and Cali Crew--

So sorry Chris that the "ants from hell" are still guests at your house. I, too, get so frustrated with them. Baby powder does seem to work, but with my dogs, I end up with white paw prints everywhere. Or else my "furry kids" are so darn nosy, they end up with white noses! Neither of which is fun, cause I end up having to chase them down and clean them up! Lol! I am afraid to try anything stronger, cause of them, too.
Not, much planned for me today, just trying to get somethings done around the house. Oh, happy days. Do you hear the enthusiasm in my writing? Hee hee.
I do want to thank everyone that has offered me words of wisdom, advice, hugs, tough love, or just support these last few days, as I go through what seems like endless trials. I really appreciate each and everyone of you. I was just telling Rhonda yesterday, I have never, ever have gotten the acceptance, love, support, and friendship as I have on this forum in the last couple of months. I know that sounds sad, but its true. Thank you, Diane, for sending me the protein. I appreciate it. Luv you, lots! Big, easy hugs to you. I want to give everyone hugs of gratitude. Chris, not sure where I heard this from, but someone once told me that scouring cleanser like Comet works as a deterrent.  I guess ants don't like it.  So I sprinkle some along the window sills and it seems to work.  Maybe some around your drains, etc?

Well, I'm back at work, ugh... But it hasn't been too bad really (there's air conditioning here)!  Hope everyone else keeps cool today.
