Today I am thankful for....

- My morning cup of coffee yum!
- That I am seeing the beginning of another week with good health and happiness.
- For my beautiful garden full of vegetables which we're enjoying tending to and eating.

I am thankful for opportunities that surprize me.  I got another call to come down the hill today for a special class they want me to teach, how the heck they heard about me is beyond me.  But I did not ask as I do not want to know, God is in control and I am only along for the ride.

I am also thankful that we can pray for others and that I know in my heart God will listen.  He may not answer that prayer in the way I think is best, but he will answer in the ultimately right way.  TOday I am thankful that he will be with someone I am praying about and for today and I pray that he helps her as I know she is in terrible pain.  So today I am thankful for God and his blessings.

God is in Control, as Rhonda said; I don't have to sweat the small stuff ^_^ and the Big stuff doesn't involve me LOL

This hot hot hot heat wave we are in; at least the grapes will be sweet in August for great wine in October!

For great family and friends! We were not created to be 'islands' ^_^

Today, as i listen to the sound of the gardeners working in the front yard, and the two young men tearing down walls in the back of the house.... I am thankful for those who have the strength and expertise to do what I could not as easily do.

And, for a job that lets me pay for this stuff!

And, for a home to even work on...

And, I'm thankful for good friends, of all sorts! And for God's grace and mercies, which are NEW every morning!

Aw thanks so very much.  You too are a blessing in my life.  I am so glad you find the Daily Thanksgivings helpful and touching, truth be known, they give me a purpose and help to ground me, especially right now.

Today, I am thankful for....

My job even though I don't like it.  I know God is in control and has me here for a reason even if I don't see it.

My church that keeps me grounded and makes me feel loved.

My kids even though they drive me crazy.

OH for the support over the last 6+ years and the friendships that I have made.

Today I'm thankful for misguided teenagers that have now left a huge smile on my face.

As I was running down Beach Blvd. today, a car full of teenagers whistled at me.  I about died laughing, because I'm SURE once they turned around and saw me from the front, they realized I could be their mother and were completely grossed out. 

But I will be smiling the rest of the day.
