OT: sister update...surgery cancelled

I just got a message from my sister....  her surgery for today has been cancelled.  They first pushed her back to 2:30 and then called and cancelled altogether.  Her surgeon is in an emergency surgery that is running way overtime.

Thank you all for your prayers and positive thoughts!!!  You guys are the BEST!!!  I'll keep you posted on what happens next.

And to the person having the emergency today: may God be with you holding your hand

Sorry to hear of the cancellation, Laura.  Kinda puts you thru the wringer going back and forth.  But your attitude is so gracious! Thinking of the person who needed the doctor...that is so compassionate..Bless you!!

I second that response! Absolutely true! 

Unlike the people that go to the ER with a headcold or other minor ailment and get angry when they expect to be next and an AMBULANCE has the nerve of  coming in and making them wait even longer! According to that type of person the person in the back of the ambulance should have to wait for their treatment. crazy.

Hopefully, her sister will be first in the am and have a speedy recovery!
