Stricture is back!!!!!!!

Unbeleivable that you have gone through this for so long and here I thought having to be opened 3 times was tough. I hope that you get the stent this time.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and I am wishing you the best.

I am so sorry to hear that darn stinky stricture is back, but sending warm thoughts and prayers that Dr. Lee can do the trick.  Hang in there we're all pulling for you.  Please take care of yourself and I'll keep the prayers flowing downstate for you.

Oh honey, I am soooo sorry to hear that you are still having this issue! Enough is enough already!!!!  I will be praying that they figure this out this time so no surgery is needed. I'm so worried about you with your malnourishment and deficiencies sweetie!! You said you take a B1 supplement, I take a B100 supplement that has all the B's in it as well as my B12. Maybe you should check into that, I get it at Walmart.  Please do all you can to stay healthy and not let this get the best of you!

Oh, Linda!  Of course, I'm sorry to hear about the stricture, but glad to hear that at least you have Dr. Chin's attention now.  When will you see Dr. Lee again?  We'll all be praying for you!

Hello Julia,

Since I have an HMO, everything has to be authorized.  It usually takes about a week or so to get the authorization. 

I did call your GI doctor, but she wasn't contracted with my insurance.  Dr Chin seems to trust Dr. Lee at UCI and is hoping that I will be a good candidate this time for the stent. although he told me that sometimes it only works for about 6 mos.  (great) so we will see what happens.
