Enjoy your trip.  I got to go and watch my daughters boyfriend graduate from Marine boot camp a couple of years ago in San Diego.  It was so much fun.  We really couldn't hug him a lot.  My daughter just wanted to hug and kiss him but it had to wait until we were off  base. 

Nothing planned today.  I am at work now but after that, I think I will take a nap and then I have church tonight and thats it.  I wish I could find another job that I didn't have to get up so early for.  I am so tired all the time.  I need to make more money too.

I love waking up to a brand new fresh morning. Its so clean and fresh, and it helps that its not that hot yet. No weight today, sorry Chris. Although I went to Costco yesterday, stepped on a scale and when I saw the numbers, thought to myself "Holy Crap! I wish!!" I need to buy a scale, but I will wait until after surgery. The scale I used at Costco was broken. I dislike broken scales, that give you broken dreams. But, oh well, life continues....
Jillie- You have every right to be excited and proud of your son! Congrats to you and him, for surviving the 8 weeks. Coming from this Marine Corp brat, Congratulations and please tell your son, thank you for choosing to serve our country. I have or had family in every branch of the service. He graduating from Army?
Chris- might just have to try that stuff Laura recommended. Let me know how it works, OK?
Laura- sorry to hear they rescheduled your sister's surgery, but the compassion you showed was truly heart warming. It brought a lump in my throat. I will continue praying for her and your whole family.

Jillie have a wonderful and safe trip and enjoy your time with the kiddo.  I know you are so proud of him for sticking with it for the 8 weeks when all he wanted to do was come home.  I'm sure you will have a wonderful time.  Just sorry we won't get to see you this weekend, but there will be another time I'm sure.

I still think I'm half asleep.  With very little prodding I could put my head down on my desk and take a nap.  Hmmmm...maybe if I close my office door and turn off the lights no one will know I'm here and they'll leave me alone.  Like that would ever happen.  There is bound to be something someone needs help with or doesn't understand and needs instruction. Plus, my car is outside.  They all know I'm here.  Oh well, guess I might as well get some work done then.

Everyone have a great day.  Try to stay out of the heat if you can and if you have to be out in it, be sure to drink plenty of water.  And don't forget your pets that are outside, they need lots of water too.

I'm the same.

The same weight I've been for three months now. 

I count everything I eat, but the weight isn't budging.  I've been been doing the "pouch test" this week and STILL nothing.  I'm exercising.  Don't know what else to do but keep on moving forward.

Have a great day all.  It's my youngest's 21st birthday, so I'm off to the Fossil Store at Downtown Disney to buy him the watch he wants, after some quick school work this morning.

Hope all is well with everyone. Yes I think it is HOT in all of California. I spent the day yesterday at several job interviews riving all over and I was so beat from the heat it was crazy. Trying to find a job as an LVN right now is next to impossible especially when you specialize in Emergency Medicine stuff.

I have not posted a weight here in a long time so the numbers are not just for one week. I cannot remember what my weight was the last time I posted for Chris so I will go with whats on my ticker. Officially I am below my weight from when I graduated from High School. So Chris please add 17 pounds to your total. This is from the new scale from Costco and we will see how it compares to the surgeons scale tomorrow at my 6 month follow up visit. '

I just cannot believe that I am only 91 pounds away from my goal weight. Maybe I need another goal?  What do ya think

Wahoo Rick!  You are rockin' that tool!  OK . . . so how much have you lost total?  I'll see what I have you down for (my spreadsheet is at home) . . . and then just spread the rest of the weight over the six months.  Does that work for you?  I like ALL the numbers I can get!

Wow, Rick! I agree with Chris! You are doing AMAZING

I hope you find some work soon - I thought that Health Care was a better field to work in, because people always need doctors/nurses/etc to take care of them - why do you think employment is down? The program I am in for school is Radiologic Technology, I hope in 2-ish years when I graduate things turn around.

Again, great job on getting so close to goal!
