Good Morning,
Tried to sleep some this morning, but OH no, my little dog Vicki decided if she's up, so is mommy. She sat outside my door, scratching and barking till I let her in. If I say to her, to wait, she will just sit in front of the door, if I ask her who it is, she barks. She is cute and I am never mad at her. She is my love. Well Dougie is too, but she doesn't get cranky like old men do.
Today brings some visitors, then just resting. I thought I would be my own doctor and try and get off the morhphine pills....WRONG. The pain is bad, the pills worked so well I thought I was improving..not!! But 2 weeks from today I will be waiting to get this back fixed.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to everyone that has birthdays. This weekend is certainly a busy one! Everyone have a great time and enjoy.
Ok I am off to take a shower and clean this body up. It can look so bad just sitting here, no reason for it to look this bad if I feel this bad.

Good morning Lu and Cali Crew! Not a whole lot on the agenda today. I got a call for an interview and am trying to return the gal's call, but her voicemail is full. Ugh! This weekend I am heading up to the High Desert for Sue Bee's birthday. They are alwasy a lot of fun. Then it's church on sunday (probably last service, depending on what time I get home after Karaoke...lol). Jason and his friend Jennifer will be going with me to church, so that will be nice.

Good afternoon... just read through everyone's posts and there is so much great stuff going on, and so many things to lift up in prayers, too.
For me, three big things going on:
1. My doggie, Amber (younger of my 2, but still a 'senior citizen' at 9), has been acting funny for three days. Less appetite... runny poop...vomiting (just a bit). And ALL NIGHT last night was up and running around inside and outside and up on the bed, trying to get comfortable. Obviously in pain, but what kind? gut? teeth? (she has had 3 pulled already) So.. to vet this morning. We're now on all kinds of meds...antibiotics...anti parasitic...pain...and an oral rinse.
2. I had a thyroid biopsy about 4 weeks ago. Results were inconclusive and it was the MOST painful thing I've done in a good bit (FIVE separate needle biopsies, and a whole lot of aspiration going on! YUCK). Today, we re-did the test. Results in 7-10 days. She had a slightly different approach today, with much less pain.
3. Demolition derby continues here! The new window is here, and will be framed in before the day is done. The old window is just plain old OUT and the old space there will also be framed in today. Things are moving along... remaking a bedroom into a full bathroom and walk-in closet.
