OT: I have an interview!!! (Updated)

I finally got a hold with the gall that called me for an interview this morning. I have an interview with her in Riverside at 11:30 tomorrow morning. Woo-to-the-hooooo!!!! It starts at $12.00 an hour, which is right in the range that I am looking for. Please say a prayer, send good thoughts/ju-ju, cross fingers, toes and eyes (if you're able too...lol). I will update when I get home from the interview tomorrow. =)

Congrats Katt!!

I faxed my resume to the property managment company this morning.  I am hoping to hear from them soon.  Hopefully they will come up here to interview and I won't have to go down the hill.

OWN THAT INTERVIEW!

I am the interview queen. This is what you need to do. You walk in there with nothing but confidence!! You own that interview because that job belongs to you. Remember to do a little research about that company beforehand, that way you can talk about their statistics or anything new going on with them. It shows them, that you did your homework & you are interested in them! Don't forget to ask them questions. I think a lot of interviewers like that. They want to know that you are not there just for a job, but a career!

Now the look, keep it simple but nice. Not too much makeup, but just enough that makes you look put together. Now the hair, keep that simple and business like, too. Since it's smoking hot outside and make sure you DO NOT wear anything that resembles summer & layed back. Remember, first impressions are what can make or break the deal.  Bring a couple copies of your resume & a list of references just incase they require one. Plus, don't forget a pen. A lot of people make mistakes and forget to bring a blue or black ink pen and that shows the interviewer that they are unprepared. Besides all that I have thrown at you, you will be fabulous & land this job!!
