OT, the new me on the way My surgery date

How I can't wait for the drugs and surgery.  These last 5 weeks have sucked.  The pain has been horrible, the MRI was the worst thing I had ever had.  I cried from pain for 25 minutes while they were doing the MRI.  Then came the miracle drug, Morphine pills. I can at least sleep, move, and there is no more daily crying, and screaming from the pain.  All of this will end on AUGUST 6th.  That is the day for my surgery.  We were trying for next week the 30th, but it was difficult for the scheduler to get everything done, plus they need to go to the insurance company for approval on the piece of equipment they are placing in my spine.  So by Aug 7th, I will be in LALA land with pain meds, but the new me will be on the road to recovery!  I cannot wait. 

Madame Joy, I am going to be talking to my hubby, and then I am going to talk to the doc, to see exactly what kind of condition I will be in when this process is over.  If I need to move around, or really be bed ridden.  If I can move around I am good to take care of myself.  But I will be letting you know one way or the others.  I still cannot believe what a wonderful offer you gave me.

That is only 2 weeks away from this Friday....I am so happy that all your pain will go away soon and you will be on the road to recovery...If you need anything PLEASE let me know.  I can take a couple days off work and stay with you...or even come out for a weekend.  I could cook and clean in exchange for room and board....lol

But, seriously I don't mind!!!!

I'm so sorry you've been in so much pain, Diane, I had no idea.  I hope somehow the time just flies by for you between now and August 6th.  Prayers for a speedy recovery and complete healing too.
