~~Daily Thanksgivings~~
Man, those 3 P's are killers for me.....that answers the question of my own sucessfullness (is that even a real word???)
Today I am thankful for:
the $1 junior bacon cheeseburger that I am not even able to finish
the end of another work week...'cause that means I have a job
payday Friday!!!
I don't have many cookbooks...but I have 5 recipe card file boxes. Many of my favorite recipes are ones that are handwritten on imprinted recipe cards: "from the kitchen of..." by the giver....my mother, grandmother and many great-aunts. Many of the recipes I can make from memory, but I wouldn't give up those tattered cards for anything!!

Hey Barb,
I doubt if I'll make it tomorrow, as I am pretty sure my friend and I are going to the Gilroy Garlic Festival tomorrow. If we decide not to go, I'll be at Chevy's for sure!
I'm thankful that I went to last month's luncheon, because I got to know a few more OH friends...Barb, you are so easy to talk to....you are truly "The salt of the earth." I love that saying.
I am also thankful that I have a friend who, through the ups and downs, and huge mistakes we've made in our lives (to ourselves and each other at times) we are still just the best of buds, and as we are both going through our own personal trials right now, we are helping each other grow....
"As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another..." one of my favorite Bible verses.
The biggest blessings in my life have always come through friends.
