OT update on sister surgery

Sorry I have been MIA the last two days....it's been cRAzzzzZy busy here at work!!!

My sister Jane had her elective double mastectomies/reconstruction surgery yesterday afternoon.  My niece gave us word last night about 9 that everything went "perfectly".  Today I got an e-mail that Jane is doing well, has been up walking and will be discharged from the hospital this afternoon....24 hours seems quick to me, but she may get better rest and recouperation in her own bed at home....We all know how busy-noisey hospitals can be!!

I want to thank all of you for your prayers and good thoughts for Jane.  I am so glad things went so well because this is the same surgery planned for me for next summer.....

Thanks again everyone....

Laura,

Thanks so much for updating us.  God is great and he brought her right through that.  Wow!  24 hours unbelievable.  It was so nice to hear from last night.  Made my evening as a matter of fact.  It was such a surprize.  Thanks for thinking of me.  give Olivia a hug for me.
