THE ROOM!! THE ROOM!!!

Finally...3 months later and many bruises...and more $$ than I planned on the room is close enough to completion that I slept in it last night !!!

I feel a great deal of accomplishment in this project, as does Grant,  my buddy, helper and friend. And he is only 16 years old! I think I want to adopt this kid but I don't think is folks would go for it.

I will post the outside of it when I get it finished ...this could be awhile I have a lot of other things that have to be done as well.

This is only the second of this type of project I have gotten myself into ever, And this one was bigger than the last.

Oh and the concrete floors did turn out pretty nice  and they were the hardest part of the job.

I still have some trim and small detail stuff to finish but it looks pretty good even if I say so myself.

What do you have in mind and thank you! The white walls look so fresh with the knotty pine. The other was just ugly and it really pissed me off after putting all the work of sponging into it and having it turn out totally wrong!!

  WOW Joy!  What a fabulous job and I love the setting of the room...your headboard and the matching wall  hanging fit perfectly!  Great job...You are really talented!

Thanks Nancy...Itisn't a wall hang really it is the attually headboard the goes all the way up to the window.
