Its the weekend, so I know many of you are still in bed, but I am up and no where ready for start my day. UGH!!

I am working overtime today, so I am up early. Wishing I am sleeping in. Frankie woke me a few times last, wanting under the blanket, then out again. UGH MAKE UP YOUR DRUG INDUCED MIND!!!!!!!!!! LOL
OK up date on Frankie........
He is home and doing great, he does have a whole in his but, right next to his rectum that we will have to keep clean as it will be draining a little bit, but not to worry about it. I got him a pain shot, (can you beleave that they will send them how with out pain meds??)The shot will last about 24 hours, then we have some oral stuff for him. This happened so fast, its scary. He is doing great this morning and even had a little bit of breakfast. He did seem to have restless night, but just as one would figure, he is sleeping great this morning. LOL Dork!!
So what do you have planned for the day and/or weekend? Its going to be warm so if you have something hard to do outside, do it early morning before the sun heats up the earth.

I am glad that this morning found Frankie feeling better, but the poor little thing having a drain in his butt. How awful. He should improve daily, and I will be wishing the best for your little son.
Today I am coning out of my air conditioned comfort zone, and taking my recliner shapped butt to the LB coffee. I am looking forward to it. IF anyone going is brings some larget sized shifts, let me know, I would love to have something like that to hangout in the hospital with. I don't think I want to wear anything around my waist for awhile, I just don't know what to expect.
Other than that today, I am looking forward to coming home and sitting back in my recliner for the rest of the weekend. and watching NASCAR. Dougie will rest all day tomorrow. The guy has been working so hard.and then taking careof me too, makes me feel so quilty.
Ok everyone have a fun weekend, stay cool, drink your fluids, and do something really cool this weekend for yourself.

Good morning Cali,
It is cool again this morning. Nice and quite no on up yet but me and the cats. Trying to figure out what to make for breakfast. I seem to eat the same things, egg with turkey bacon, egg bites, protein oatmeal or some cheese and deli meat. I bought some of those cottage cheese with pineapple and love them but seem hungry very fast after eating one like in a hour and a half??? Oh well I put them in my patine drinks sometime too.
The Nor Cal lunch is today and I am eager to hear from the speaker that will be there on plastics after WLS. I am sure I will be a candidate soon. I went to kohls last night and found some great clearance items. I cannot believe I fit in to a size ten pants. They were not real comfortable but I could zip and button them.
I am bringing two bags of clothes to the lunch for the exchange I hope someone can use them. Mostly size 18 to 16, there is lots of different things even a few swimsuits. I like to buy them I guess and they are still in great shape.

I hope Frankie is ok. I know you feel about you dogs like I feel about my cats. They are our babies, even if they are a pain sometimes!!
I am finally on my weekend off and I dont want to do a damn thing!! I think that will be how today is, doing much of nothing. Tomorrow is the SD lunch and I will probably do my errands then so I dont have to get dressed today. Ya lazy I know, we all deserve days like that sometimes.
Hope you dont have to work to hard today and Frankie keeps getting better.

My DIL washed my son's phone yesterday . . . the one I bought and is on my plan . . . can't do a thing about that . . . they have tapped me out . . . the little I have left at the moment is for me and what I have coming up!
I think I have / am getting an ingrown toe nail too . . . have to deal with that right away . . . .can't go to Seattle for the walk if I can't even walk a lttle!

Hello all.. Happy Saturday.
It is so nice to wake up in the morning and not have to rush into the shower and out of the house for work. Looking forward to Long Beach Coffee today with all of the folks there. Many people will be there that were missing last month. I am excited to meet some new people from this wonderful site that keeps us all going and on track..

Good morning Lu... glad frankie is going to be better... you're a good momma!
Dog owners (like myself!) don't always know that dogs have anal glands that need to be "expressed". My groomers do it, so every 5 weeks or so, it's done. But many don't, and they can become "impacted"...so... when you see your dog "scooting" on the rug or outdoors...they are trying to express them themselves.
LB coffee today...a reunion today, too, for some of my former students (c/o 1994).... and hopefully, lunch down at the shore! Also, stucco guys are here pounding up a storm... my doggie Amber is not eating... don't know if she is stressed from the home repairs, or what... we went to the vet thursday and are on some meds, but she still is not well... don't know exactly what's wrong...
We had a really nice dinner last night for Crystal (mystimel) who has her RNY on Monday! Linda and her daughter were there... Crystal and her BF...Naomi... and Jean and Dave... a good group!! we had a really nice dinner and Naomi and I split a drink (a mudslide) that was like drinking an ice cream sundae... but with a PUNCH! :) yummmmm
have a great day! see a bunch of ya in a bit at St. Arbucks....
