My 3 year anniversary!!
Well, in two days I will be celebrating my 3 year WLS anniversary. I am happy to report all is well. I have maintained my weight loss and my weight is steady at 157lbs. To honor my 3 year anniversary, I will be taking the national certification exam to become THE personal fitness to the WLS Stars!!! That's my new dream. I am getting cerfifed to solidify my transition from "that life" the "THIS ONE!".......and i want to work primarily with WLS patients, and obese children as that is where it all starts. My exam is on Aug 9, so WISH ME LUCK!!!

Congrats :) You are the perfect person for me to ask. I am two years out and I am at 172. I am stuck there. What was you path like at two years? My goal is 150. I was hoping to already be there. I really haven't changed anything latley, but I am going to start a new exercise progam, so maybe I will give my weight loss another jump start. Once again, congrats and best wished to you. You look GREAT :)
At two years, my life was just the same as it is now. I am happy to say that, because it means I have stayed on path and not back slided. I am loving this life.........I always refer to it as "same girl, different life". I have a passion for being active. I have gotten pretty good at snowboarding (and love the fashion aspect of it......such a girl!!). The one thing that is different I would say, is my physical strength. There was a time after WLS where I felt weak, meaning not muscularly strong. Heavy doors were a challenge, strong gusts of wind would blow me over....etc.. I started a weight training program, and although it put 5lbs of muscle on me, it lowered my total body fat percent by 4%. My arms (underneath the bat wings...LOL) and shoulders are VERY sculpted, and once I was able to see that, it became the physical focus for me. I love being muscular and feminine. Now, I just cant want until I can afford my plastic surgeries....
I would love to help you get started on your exercise program, and I need to know a little more about your eating routine as well, and should know some more about how your how your blood labs come out (you HAVE been checking them twice a year, right??/)
Give me a brief detail about what your regular daily activity level is, including your type of work, and any exercise you fit into your day. Include a brief detail of activities that interest you as well.
We can come up with a fun, motivating exercise program that will make the difference you want. The key aspect i**** it hard at first, and then you can scale back once you reach your goal, but you MUST keep active daily.........once you make your goal, do not stop exercising. That is the huge mistake many people make.
My cell phone number is (951)275-1017. Everyone, feel free to ask questions while the answers are still free!!! LOL
Wish me luck for August 9!!!

Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!
