OT:TWO WOLVES
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.
He said, "My son, the battle is between two wolves inside us all.
"One is Evil - It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.
"The other is Good - It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: "Which wolf wins?"
The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."
Women are angels.
...and when someone breaks our wings, we simply continue to fly...on a broomstick.
We are flexible.

That is a really beautiful message. In my Native American ancestry, we are members of the Wolf Clan. I have a great-great-uncle that lives on a reservation in South Dakota, it will make him smile when I send this to him and he sees the "Great Spirit" is alive and well, even in OH posts...thank you

This is so true. The first time I ever heard this story was from my hubby, right after we had left a particular church we had been attending because of dissension among the rank and file over some church 'political' issue. His comment was' we don't need this garbage'. When I asked what he meant, he told me this story about good and evil and then added that the 'wrong' wolf was being fed. Such a great analogy! Thank you Darlene for posting this on the Lord's Day. ^_^
