I'm not skinny though, lol, thin maybe, but skinny, not. At least not with all this swelling going on!!! 
And believe me, I would love to move up there, I've been working on hubby for years and will continue to do so. We have to wait for Tara to graduate this year, but if I get my way, we will move up there after that. It is soooooo much cheaper than here is San Diego. We could rent a house there, here we will be in this apartment for life!!!

Stop it Heather! **sniff sniff**, Rhonda and Becky are the misty babies! Now I am too! I am so thankful for you. The way our lives came together, we were ment to be friends. Remember 6 degrees of separation? I love you too, sweetheart! You are so precious and important to me. OH is "eating" my posts this morning, so we'll see if this works.  Today just brings the last chapter in Algebra and studying for my Final Exam on next Monday.  I woke up very early this morning and fell back asleep around 6-ish, so I'm groggy. 

This evening we're going down to the beach so Harley can ride his bike and I'm going for a run.  I have breakfast in the oven, so it's time to study  .  Have I mentioned I hate math? 

I'm thinking about Crystal and hoping to hear how she's doing soon.

Good afternoon Cali...nothing much going on over here. I went to Goodyear and had my tires balanced and rotated. Come to find out, I may have gone to high school with the service manager's mom. I was wearing my Class of 1984 Alumni t-shirt and he recognized the school. Too funny. I hope everyone has a great day. Be safe in the heat and stay hydrated.

It is quite obvious that everyone! was busy this weekend and almost everyone made it to one of the many meet-ups this past weekend. Aren't they just so much fun??! 

I did have a bit of upsetting news on Saturday, right before I walked out the door to head for the No Cali group; one of my close carving gal-friends passed away last Wednesday nite..went to sleep and never woke up.  I'm still waiting to hear the particulars but at least I know she was camping at her favorite spot, was with close friends and had been teaching her Norwegian art to a campful of kids...a passion of hers. It just comes as a total shock...no one had any idea that she might have been ill. :-( 

So, to all my OH friends and supporters, I want to tell you how special ALL of you are.  Each of you that I have met or have read your postings here, have influenced me, encouraged me, made me laugh, and given me such wonderful insight into this journey I have started.  Thank YOU!  It is sooo important that we tell those we care about, who share this life's journey with, just exactly how important they are in our lives.  You just never know when our Father will call them Home.  {{{HUGS}}} to each of you ^_^

Good Afternoon Cali,

My weekend was great.  Friday, I played hookie from work and donated platelets in Pasadena.  Saturday, went to a lys to meet knitwear author ,Wendy Bernard.  Sunday, went to Oceanside for the San Diego luncheon.  I am so glad I wasn't the only one running late.  The train that I was on had mechanical difficulties, so that made all of the trains run late.  By the time I had arrived at Joe's Crab Shack, everyone had just sat down and about to order.

On another note,  I had met a guy on Saturday morning.  Just minding my own business and he complemented me on my dress (red, low cut, maxi- you get the picture).  We started talking.  He asked if I was materialistic.  I told him no, that no one could use material items over my head to manipulate me.  But that got me to thinking, what are people definitions of materialism? 

Well, I am no longer talking to the guy.  I was at his job (at his request), but in the process of waiting for him to get off work (8pm), my phone died.  So, because I did not know where he was located , I decided to go home and call him from there.  Mind you, he was very upset with me.  We got into an argument and he broke things off.  Oh well, I guess that is how the cookie crumbles.  NEXT!
