Welcome to Twisted Tuesday.......

Manic Monday is over, and the rest of the week starts this down hill slide to the weekend....

So last night DD and I and few other friends went and seen G-Force. It was a good movie and very funny in spots, but I would not pay the 11 $ to see it in 3D. It was not worth that price. There was only one kid watching the show, the rest was over 30. LOL When it came to the spot where they say "poop in his hand, pood in his hand" our small group yelled it out and I think we got the biggest laugh.

Update on Frankie....he is doing much better and he almost has his smile back full time. He gets drugs up only twice a day now for the pain. (morning and night) Just to be on the save side, DD and I took both the girls in and had their behinds checked out. LOL They where both fine. The vet laughed at us when we told them why we wanted it done. But they done them and didn't change us anything.

My hike up Lion Head mountain was a big disapointment. Everyone was saying it was harder then Cougar Mountain, and that was so not true. Maddie and I was up and down, with a 3 to 4 minute break at the top, in less then 1 hour. It was a fun walk up and at points was hard, but nothing like Cougar, so we are going to return to Cougar and see how that goes for a second time.

Monica......sorry to hear you got off course for a second or two, but very happy to hear you was able to finish and get your finishing medals and jacket.

Rhonda......I hope things are looking up for you and your problems with your mail.

Diane........are you ready to your surgery and your new back? What hospital are you going to be in, and for how long?

Nikki........great pictures for the lunch, thank you for sharing them, looks like everyone was having fun.

Kat......Thank you for sharing your picture of Sue Bee B-day party.

Naom.....thank you for sharing the picture from Long Beach. What a great turn out.

OK that is all I can recall from reading the boards this morning. SO If I didn't call you out, dont let that stop you from posting, I only had a few minutes to read this morning.

So how did manic monday treat you? What did you do and how did that turn out?

I wish you all a great Tuesday. Smile and sing for today you are STILL 8 feet above groud, and that is alway a good thing.

Good morning Cali,

The week will go fast I hope.  I went swimming last night it was so refreshing!  My staff did not want to go out to dinner which was fine with me.  They have a little happy hour in the lobby and had some baked chicken wings, I got me five half peices and called it a day.  It is supposed to be hot again and cooling as the week goes on.  Stay cool and sip sip sip.

Mornin' Miss Lu . . . glad to hear little Frankie is doing fine .. . which should mean his momma is doing better too!

My DIL found out yesterday she has to be on 2-1/2 weeks more of chemo . .. the dang tumor is shrinking . . . but they want it gone . . . so they are upping her to 3 x a week now . . . she has good time of the day and bad . . . and when she is doing bad . . .the kids are out of control . .. they all so need this to be over with and get back to a normal routine . . .and MOVE . . . should my son get the word right now from Monterey, he will have to go up ahead because she can't be by herself with the kids . . . so we would take her up later . . . we'll figure it out.

Not much else new . . .I'm going to the dentist today for cleanings (so fun) . . . then to the doctor to get a referral to workmen's comp for the numb finger.  I burnt it on Saturday at Costco . . .and didn't even know it until I saw the blisters later in the day.  Also going to have this dang toe checked out . . . don't need an ingrown toenail for my 3 Day walk!  (maybe a 3 day Hobble???)

thank the Lord for chemo and radiation!!! I'm glad your DIL's tumor is shrinking and now it just needs to GO AWAY!!

well Monday's over, and the week "should" be  getting a little better from here on out.  But you never know what might happen.  I hope everyone has a great week, and stays cool and hydrated.  Catch ya on the flipside!

Good Morning Lu and Cali,

Yesterday I made it downtown to LAUSD to take my transcipts and increase my salary points for a raise.  We will see how long it takes to adjust my check,

Today Jordyn's dad is coming and I hope to put a chicken on the bar b Q and put down some granuals for the ants.  Also I need to do some cleaning as my sis and niece are coming tomorrow and apparently staying with me wednesday night.  She has never said this to me or asked if it was okay.  She just told my mom.  My mom of course condones this rediculous behavior of my sister because she never said to her did you make sure Monica is okay with this.  You would think it wouldn't bother me any more but geeze louis it still drives me crazy that I must always be accomodating to her.

Today Im up early and excited cuz Im getting my staples out this morning.  I go to the Surgeon for my 1st appt after surgery check up. Yay!  Then just a couple more days and it's soft food days ahead :)

Good Morning Lu and Cali Friends,

Hope everyone is doing great today.  Yesterday was Ron's birthday (my hubby) and while it was very low key it was a good one for him.  Isla (MIL) made his favorite cheese cake, and I took a teeny tiny taste and it was good but way to sweet for me now.  I had no desire to eat a piece or anything WHOO HOO!  I went back to snacking on my sunflower seeds and that was the best!

Today brings us to Experience Unlimited for a workshop and then we're going over to CAL to the Alumni Career Center to see what they have to offer Ron.

So gotta get hopping and see y'all later!
