A flyby this morning (this was supposed to be a quiet week...NOT happening lol).
We're headed to a friend's to help spread concreat for a retaining wall for a new driveway. The things I've never known. lol I can do anything now! Tomorrow is spreading of the ashes at sea of our Flotilla Commander by the Coast Guard :(. Next day lunch at the lighthouse with a friend.

Good Morning!
I posted really late last night, so I thought I bettter post earlier today.Not too much went on yesterday. I did go and see my mom and my brothers and sisters. I had to go to them. I just figured, my surgery is friday and so I will see them, cause I have no idea when I will see them again. They never come and see me. It went good. Spent the day with DH. That is all. Kinda a boring day. I hope everybody has a good day.

Good morning!
Hope everyone is off to a great start this morning.
I had a nice surprise this morning. When I got out to my car my good friend who's staying with me left me a nice note thanking me for a delicious dinner, hoping I have a great day and letting me know he put a quart of oil in my car. He also left me a banana for a snack. Little things like that really help start the day off right.
Not too much planned for today. I am attending a spinning class at the gym on my lunch hour and then a mani - pedi after work. Getting ready for Vegas this weekend. So excited girls only weekend and just found out our limo includes a stripper pole (not sure why exactly) but I guess I'll find out. One guess is midget stipper, if that's the case plan on pics to follow.
Naomi - Have a great time at State Line and don't forget to wave as you drive through!!
Lu - So glad little Frankie is doing better and the other dogs got the all clear. I have children but still treat my dogs as family members. We celebrate bithdays, take them with us whenever we can, address them as the boys' brother and sister and they are allowed in beds and on couches. I know that's a no no for some but hey that's how we do it.
Diane - The count down is on. I am so glad this surgery is so close and will offer you some relief. Then you and Doug will be able to experience all the things you have been dreaming of.
Jackie - It was so nice meeting you Saturday. You are really doing great, I can't wait to hear what the doc says. And I bet you are so looking forward to some "real" food.
Javi - I am just like Jackie, I literally laugh out loud everytime I see the new avatar. Love it!!!
Chris - I am sorry to hear the DIL has to continue with the chemo but so grateful the tumor is shrinking. Lots of prayers coming your way, for DIL, the children, and that your son lands that job in Monterey. Then maybe somethings will settle down for you.
On a funny note, my 2 younger boys know so much about all of you that when we do our family prayer at night they have started to name some of you by name. Last night the 6 year old included Michelle (surgery), Diane (surgery), Becky (recovery) and Barb (job hunt) in his prayers. It was very sweet. I'm glad they pay attention.

So glad it's Tuesday.... 
Not too much new here.. just awaiting our Vacation in Mammoth for a week. It will be so nice to get away with our family where it will be cooler and more relaxing. We did not go on our annual trip last year as I was too nervious right after my surgery. Funny how time and good health takes that away. It will be easy to hike and walk now and even to breath that clean air. Just 2 more weeks to go..
Praying for all of our surgeries to go well this week.. How about our Monica and her adventure, what a trooper!
