Had my 2 wk. post op today with the PA and everything is going just fine.  I have lost a total of 22 lbs. since pre-op.  I guess this is good.  The PA was very attentive and answered all my questions.

While at the appointment there was a family that came in for their appointment all the way from Indio.  What a long drive.  Anyway, when I left, I ran across two of them sitting in thier car and what very nice people they were.  I told them all about the OH and told them to log onto the OH site and join us in the Calif. forum.  I mentioned how welcomed they would feel and how much more support they would get here versus the Support Group Meetings.  I hope they decide to join us, they seem like such a very nice family and like to laugh.

Well, I hope everyone is having a great day and I will TTYL

Keep up the great weight loss everyone.

Hi Jackie.

I stary soft foods on Monday.  Since I go back to work on Monday I asked if I could have a boiled egg instead of a scrambled egg.  It is ok as long as I cut it up very, very good.  I know an egg is not exciting, especially since I prefer fried eggs or omletts.  Guess I will have to see which works better for me, scrambled or boiled.  If I have to do scrambled, I am going to change my hours at work to come in a 1/2 hour later giving me time to eat bkfst. because I am usually so rushed in the morning.  I am never organized in the morning, guess I will just have to plan my menu the night before so I can just grab from the fridge and go.

I am going to try decaf on Monday as well.  We have decaf at the office but regular at home.  I am not a big coffee drinker, about 1 cup a day if that.

Tonight I went walking for a little longer and actually walked about 3/4 mile tonight.  I will drive it in the morning to verify the distance.  Now if I could do this everynight, the weight or the toning may be a little quicker.

Well, i'll be chatting with you again soon.

Love Annette

22 pounds lost in two weeks is awesome!  At three weeks out I was 30 pounds lighter so you're doing great.

I still have a hard time figuring out this board.  The 22 lbs. is since June 19th which is just over a month, but I'll take it.

Thanks for your support and comment.

Congrats on your weight loss and keep it going.

Annette

You are doing great - congrats!  Keep up the good work and relax, everyone is somewhat different in the timing and rate of weight loss - especially early out.

Have a good one!
