Thanks everyone for all your well wishes while I was in the hospital. They meant a lot :) I ended up spending 3 nights in the hospital instead of 2 cause I was still needing the injectable pain meds every so often. I would take the liquid one that's supposed to last 4 hours, then about 3 hours and 15 minutes later, just sitting doing nothngand it would hurt a lot, without stopping. So I'd need an injection of the other stuff.. Other than the couple times that happened my pain was pretty tolerable. I slept a LOT and was a little slow getting my liquids at first cause I was so sleepy mostly. I'm doing much better now. I think the morphine and other injectable meds are what made me sleepiest. I feel a lot more like myself now. The extra night I had to spend wasn't so bad because I slept through a lot of the night and when I woke up I was overdue for a dose of pain meds but I wasn't in pain and I was even able to go for a walk. :) I'll try and post a fuller account of my stay later sometime in my blog :P For now I'm just gonna enjoy being home sitting on the losers bench :)

Welcome home!  I offer the advice I have seen most often--sip, walk, fart, sip, walk, fart.  Follow you MDs advice and be gentle with yourself!

Welcome home.  Glad that you are feeling better.  If your mother wants to baby you, just let her.  In a few more days you are going to forget what you went through and you will be feeling like a new woman, with a brand new rebirthday~
